Players get hit by unfortunate circumstances like Hazard and Neymar with injuries and whatnot, Hazard reached is peak Chelsea ? You can only say that because his spell at Real Madrid didn't go as planned, but nobody, at least most people never expected him to perform less at Real Madrid than he did at Chelsea, they were even expecting more than would put him at arguably the 3rd best player in the world right behind Messi and Ronaldo, or even go at loggerheads with both Messi and Ronaldo for world the best player in the world debate.
And how do you predetermine a players peak when their career isn't over yet ?
This can be determined without waiting for players to retire! Ronaldo is still playing, and we all know his peak was at Real Madrid; he will never be able to replicate what he achieved anyplace else, just as Hazard did at Chelsea, and Neymar is still playing, but he will never be able to replicate what he did at Barcelona. Salah is peaking at Liverpool, and it's clear he'll never reach that level anyplace else until he retires.
Some players were lucky to peak early in their careers, while others did so aged 28 and 30 (Vardy, Benzema, Higuain, Immobile......).
And so, if that's the case, I would like to ask a simple question Mbappe have proven himself very talented player already and not just some kid with potential like you considered the likes of Neymar, Ronaldo and Co to be then. Now to my question would you say Mbappe has reached the peak of his career and there is not a level left that could be attained for him, If he completes his move to Real Madrid, because Mbappe is currently 25 years of age, the same age Neymar was when he left Barcelona for PSG.
Honestly, we're seeing the best of Mbappe, and we may never see this version again, for two reasons:
1. At PSG, every attack goes through him; he does not struggle to receive passes since the entire team is playing for him.
2. If he joins Real Madrid, he will compete for passes with Vini, Bellingham, and Rodrigo, all of whom are young players looking for an opportunity in the spotlight, therefore Mbappe is likely to fall short of expectations. Mbappe at Real Madrid would be someone who won trophies while scoring and assisting at an average rate + Better PR. IMHO.
