Yeah, we usually really try to do that. With some sports and/or events it is unfortunately impossible - so we took a risk to include Asian games.

Yep, it is shitty that this happened so late in the season where every point counts. We voided such questions before, so there was only 1 road to take.
We'll put it in the rules for next season and try to make bulletproof questions - but then again sometimes it just isn't possible.

Yes and in all the question i have my doubts and more likely to choose the answers you choose, for example the game between Bayern and Leverkusen is high probabilities to end on a draw, and also in the Premier League point question, is very difficult to choose, the 0-1 maybe gives a stadistical advantage but its not quite a super advantage.

I don't even remember whether or not I lost the round or not because of the question or not, I really don't care about that. I really just want a one house, one accord stuff as usual here, not having people pointing one finger out with 4 circling back and all that, it's a great job folks are doing here and if we start having people throwing double standards accusations, we won't be here for longer than we have been.

Well, actually I'm one of these who tried to benefit by using VAR. First I wasn't sure about it, but after Jordan scored 2nd goal, I went for it.
If game outcome was known before deadline, probably it's right decision to void question. Though, I think that we had similar case when of tennis players or Ronnie O'Sullivan pulled out from tournament before deadline and question wasn't voided. Offcourse, I may be wrong.
Anyway, not blaming Cro2, there is just so many aspect to consider when they make questions.

It's unfortunate, in my case I have had two faults, one with kanapa that is no longer there, and another with bullrun2020 that is eventually at least in div 3.
So I have literally "screwed" myself with 8 possible points, (bad roads.    )

But without a doubt, this will "screw up" some in their aspirations, as corresponds  to classification, relegation, ITM, etc.

However, I understand how hell a of tough job CRO2 is doing, and I don't undermine that, but possibly if we can eliminate this kind of scenarios all together would be better going forward ? Scenarios where the first game doesn't get started or have half of it settled before the deadline, because I'm there are a lot of cases when the first question is a H2H question and then there is about 1-2 question settled of a possible 4 or 5, it still put us in a situation of having a few with an unfair advantage especially if they can make the most of it and their time zones still permit them to submit just in time before the deadline.

doesn't mean that I wanted any to relegate (maybe 4 to relegate is a bit too much on 16 teams, could be re-thinked for next season Cro2)

nevertheless, several different questions in our series (South Korea was the same one), Atletico on 3/2 goals, Bayern to win or draw, Premier league on 0-1/3 points, Nigeria/Ivory Coast final decision, if they both reach final, and last question we had all five different answers (first time that I have all five different answer, complete contrary opinion)

The time for the match was already set when the questions came, so this scenario should have been known by everyone who did the job of checking the match.

This was a chance Cro2 took even though they knew this could happen, but with only 2 rounds left, all the questions are very important that we can't have questions that become void (although there is always a chance of that) but this question should have remained.

I first took South Korea to score 4 goals or more, then I changed it to 3 goals or less then finally I changed it to NO and sent in my answer😂

It isn't voided that much because of the timezones, it is voided because there is already a correct answer available before the deadline.
If South Korea won 4-0, it would not have been voided. Then we would see who would use VAR, because if they won 4-0 there would still be 2 options available - to win with 4+ or not at all.

Whenever the question isn't fully settled, we're leaning towards rating it. But when there already is only 1 answer, it means more sense to void it.

Bottom line - sometimes we will have to make decisions that some people will not agree with. It really does not happen that often though.

Well I cant say that Im happy with this or not but two other people except Kanapka that failed to submit have lower rank than mine so yeah atleast this give me a slight advantage for now. Before or after the questions were posted, everyone who read the questions would know that South Korea had two games, and one was definitely bound to end before the deadline, which means there was already a possibility of answer coming before then, we can't be voiding questions because a question doesn't fit into a time zone when the deadline already itself would surely have some people on the rope, and Tennis after football is our second most sport here and the time zones are never static, I remember missing a question where my candidate had even pulled out of a tournament before the deadline, and was replaced and the questions was never voided, I would never say that was preempted, there are just some scenarios with grey areas not just black or white and we'll always have them in an as much these are circumstances beyond our control.

In my candid opinion, I don't think this question should be voided because of time zones and the nature of a question of we've had American and South American questions and from my time zone none of have been earlier than 1 in the AM, I threw in my answers early with a Yes, because I felt that was the best, and my cls63 my opponent answer came in according to spreadsheet around when the match is almost 85+ mins, and answered Yes, I don't know if he also used a VAR card, but if he didn't, that means what we are trying to prevent is not going to be possible because there are some answers here that most of us don't even bother to look up, to be honest what with question is almost a scenario we've had always in some Tennis, Handball or Waterpolo questions where vast majority of us needed to wait for a possible scenario before submitting, I would ask if South Korea had won the game today 4-0, would the question had been voided if everyone with a no answer decides to call VAR because all South Korea would need left is to win the finals by any means necessary which would have a more probable than not answer ?

I'm pretty much fine with void call to be very honest, as it is a generally fair decision, but it also kinda eliminate the needs for VAR all together because this was one of the scenarios that brought about it's implementation to begin with.

It is different. When a player does not play, we sometimes purposely make it like that so it's risky to pick, or to give advantage for those that investigate. These games are settled after submission deadline.
We wanted to give advantage to Asia games question as well to those that wait for the result of the first game, considering that Korea was a big favorite we hoped they would win. Considering that we have the correct result to the question before deadline, it's best to void it and we have done so in the past.

Why even have the question? It is something that we try to balance, it's the final this weekend and we risked with it a bit because we wanted to cover the final game.


I don't recall accepting a question that was fully settled before the deadline.
It's a shitty thing to balance to be honest, in tennis it can happen that 1 out of 5 for example already gets kicked out. We would let that one be counted.

To be honest, we're the last ones that want to see it. It's funny that Trofo's got most of them (Chi20 is the 2nd one, so not really sure why he's the one complaining the most) - but we said that we won't be notifying anymore.
You can all still tag or notify, considering that bullrun2020bro (who actually changed his name to bullrun2024bro which I just see now so maybe he even didn't get the tag) was bottom of the league, there was always the risk that he wouldn't submit.

We would like to ask all of you to keep it fair until the end, this is a specific H2H competition in which a failed submission leads to unfair advantage.

There are 4 Division 2 players with 2 points penalties (Saint-loup, famososMuertos, bullrun2024bro, dbshck), we really hope they will all submit in the last round.
Failure to do so won't kick them out to Division 3, but fully out from BSFL.

Now bullrun2020bro has not shown up, he no longer has a chance to remain in the 2nd division, and if he does not show up, the last round will be 2-3 points for some who tied or lost against him and that will again modify the table.
