I counted three different answers between me and ralle14 so every point is very important for me!
One of us will finally get the lead after today's NHL match between the Golden Knights and Avalanche.  Wink

I might have a slight edge on the tennis question now that Zverev dropped, but I still think it could easily end on a draw when Alcaraz playing this clean could cause problems for Sinner.

I'm surprised Barcelona couldn't score today. It has been a long time since they left the match without scoring a goal.

Harkorede we have both got off to a good start with 2 correct answers. I think we got 6 different answer but I have an advantage on the tennis question😁 And finally I have a round with more than only 2 different answers 😂 This will be an exciting match! let's see who gets the first point tonight. Let's go Colorado Avalanche!!😁

The Naija & BSFL Sherrif 📛
Sure, whenever you feel there's something important going on please give us a shout. We scan a lot of stuff but also miss a lot of interesting things as well.

No issue, guy. I know your eyes are too far away from this spot, but don't worry, the Sherrif lives here and will take care of everything for you. Ghana supporters are all on their team's neck: "Lose another home game to a mediocre team, and we will destroy another stadium," is the new trend.

Djokovic was always super good in "China" part of the season. So I also took a risk on him to recapture a bit of his old form. I believe he can't compete on psychical level with the new generation like Alcaraz or Sinnet but he was always super strong on psychological level and experience counts for something as well.
I am feeling more confident now, knowing that tennis expert went with the same answer.

Situation not looking good for us that went with 3-4 and more Barcelona goals as Man City leads 1-0 at the end of the first half, but at least my opponent went with 5+. Somehow I have a feeling that it was kind of a trick question.  Grin

I was expecting a rusty Novak
Hah, I was expecting the complete opposite when I went with Djokovic beating Sinner in the final, thinking that he might be pissed off because of how early he got kicked out of AU and maybe winning the tournament.

So far he looks good, hopefully he continues like that. Now I just have to hope that Sinner potentially beats Alcaraz in SF or jeremypwr wins that point.

That surely is another way to look at it, but I never thought of it like that honestly, I still feel like Djokovic would struggle against other top 7 opponents, and revenge really doesn’t work out, you’ve got win every points possible. I guessed Djokovic would still be the major second pick call, I just wanted to act like I know better, now a Djokovic final appearance means I lose the point 😒

Pop goes Zverev, and I noticed he's in quite a number of Div2 picks. Both my picks made it through, still a long way to go, but as long as they both end up in the semifinal I will feel all right here, same as Rikafip. I'm confident Sinner can dispose of Alcaraz, less confident he can take the title.

I'm not even sure why I went for Vegas in NHL. Just liked their name better I guess.

Yeah, I just saw that Zverev lost 2-0 to Goffin who I have never heard of. OK, I'm not following tennis that close so that could be the reason I haven't heard about Goffin. But I didn't expect for a 2nd player on the ATP list to lose that easy. And being an idiot, I went with Alcaraz instead of Sinner. Now I can only hope that Alcaraz can find some special energy to beat Sinner.

I counted three different answers between me and ralle14 so every point is very important for me!

Tough questions this week, had to do a lot of guess work. I think I will be very lucky if I can manage to squeeze out a victory this week.

Bitcoinhunter is in terrible form, really moving like Wolves but knowing my luck, I will be the one to gift him a win.

Yeah hahah, a great game yesterday. Check the last goal if you haven't, it's a screamer.
I had to go check and it indeed was a screamer. When I saw Crawley equalized in the dying minutes, I thought they had all but avoided a loss and was only hoping they do not get a second win (or fourth) and somehow win the match. It had to take something from Wimbledon to win the match and boy, did they find it.

I read the article and found out why you went for a question about hockey this time.  Grin
I hope it will not work and I will survive another round.

Edit:
Just checked the spreadsheet and noticed el che and I are the only people that selected Colorado Avalanche as the winner of hockey match. All others who are still in LMS have selected Vegas Golden Knights.

Waiting for tennis all the while just to end up with probably a wrong pick could be detrimental for my team, Zverev is already a set down and a break down in the second set, while Djokovic just breezed through his game against Safiullin, I was expecting a rusty Novak, while Zverev path seem somewhat fair, now it seems it's going to blow up all in my face.

Well notblox1 , my friend i need now the points more than water in the desert so gift me the points, if not im starting to have a feet on div 2.
Sorry my friend, there are no freebies here, so let the best team win.
I sent my predictions without much thinking and you have 50% chance to be the winner.
Good luck to everyone else.

Somehow you picked the most dramatic EFL game tonight. From 0-3 to 3-3 was going to tilt so hard if I lost that one, but still pretty lucky last minute win.
I heard that home team had to get emergency goalkeeper loan for this match because all other goalkeepers are injured or in international duties.
Never bet on team like that not to lose Grin

Thanks for the rebuys guys. Completely understand if 1mbtc proves too much after this round
1 mbtc is nothing for sponsoring and participating legendary LMS lottery Grin
I think it is time for Snake and Mafiaman to payback and contribute this time.

Yeah hahah, a great game yesterday. Check the last goal if you haven't, it's a screamer.

The bookies favored Wimbledon but they are a League 2 team playing away at a League 1 team.
Initially I thought I'll follow the bookies but Crawley made more sense.

LMS crew went heavily with Wimbledon, a draw would have been way better. It is what it is though, still a long way to go.

Cro2team, may I suggest we have international questions scattered across the entire continent in the future? More than 30 AFCON qualifiers matches are taking place during this break, yet none of them made the cut. The Ghana-Sudan game is a must-win for Ghana and a must-watch game( Ghana supporters aren't smiling. Lol)  Grin

I can help if you need some hints on those games. @Trofo.

First random pick of the day was Wimbledon FC, and I'm glad it turned out well, I don't know what to think of these kinds of 50/50 games where we literally have 1 in 3 chances of getting it right, hope my luck didn't get used up so early lol

I went to slight underdog according to odds, but I didn't do the same for others (like Serbia, slight favorite).

Tennis is so hard man, all the top seeds are in, and I have no idea if I should continue picking Alcaraz, he doesn't seem to do well when you are liking him a lot and Djoković is always prime Djoković!
It always seems so much easier when we are writing these questions and I always have a feeling everyone will go for the same picks. Then comes the day when I have to answer and I have no clue what to pick and in the end we usually have a nice spread of answers Smiley It is all a matter of perspective.

Anyway, time to put in my answers, trying to take vd309 down this week. Gonna be hard but hopefully he is weaker on National League questions than on usual bunch.

Yeah I can see many strategies being used every time we come to finalists. Some people just go for the main favorites. Some people choose the best players with best records on the type of ground. And some choose same side of draw. It's definitely a good question for me, very rare we have same answers as opponent Smiley Now me and Saint-loup waiting on Alcaraz and Sinner!

Yeah, fuckers playing with my heart. At 3:0 I already thiught - great another one I am starting behind. Then they claw it back all the way to 3:3 just to lose in last seconds.

Ah well it is what it is. Problem is I was happy when I have seen you went for Wimbledon.

That damn game was a rollercoaster of emotions, having picked a draw when I saw Crawley crawling back I was like no way!!!. Then lo and behold Wimbledon sealed the deal in injury time, what a question cro2. Grin Grin Grin

I was neither able to follow the match scores nor the updates from here in this thread, but from what I’ve read here, it was a quite a spontaneous match, I’m glad I was able to back AFC Wimbledon, it’s not as though it gives me any advantage over my opponent, but it shows I’ve started the round on the right path.

Cro2 does always have their way of finding these really interesting matches, especially when they have just the 1X2 as the options, you know it’s bound to not be drama free.

I agree they always find these random head scratchers that go bang. Grin Grin I didn't gain nor lose so I'm alright for now it was a crazy match though.
