Why you gotta be like that Man ?

2-3 goals would have been very fine, but now it's Brighton being up by 4 goals, who would have imagined the kind of a score for the 4+ goals, I mean it being completely one sided, and It's Tottenham on the receiving end, huh ?

I completely agree. To disrespect a team like that by scoring four goals is really not what I expected. Kidding aside, I expected more goals but was hoping for a surprise with two or three goals. Since it didn't happen, me and jayce are now tied.

Heh. If we needed reminders of what Spursy means, thus first half says it all. Pretty glad the question here had nothing to do with 1x2 as would never have imagined a first half where Spurs failed to register a single shot on goal while Brighton had six. 2more goals, please! Don't care who.

I used to always pick Manchester United to win
...

With SB's boosted odds, they are @2.30 to win at Forest. Unimaginable just a few seasons ago.
No matter how bad they have been this season, I really feel that the bookies have gone too far this time.

If I'll have any money left by then, I'll go heavy on this one.

I saw that, its currently 2.16 without any boost. I probably might take it tomorrow since Im out of boost for the day.

Anyway, NFO hasnt win a single game out from their last 4 home games and Manchester United hasnt score a single goal for their last 3 away EPL games so yeah bookies might think they sucks. Aside from that, NFO miraculously won against Newcastle on an away game so that probably one of the factor that make bookies think that NFO might stand a good chance against Manchester United

There goes another point, Brighton just scored their 4th goal

I feel there will be plenty goals in the Brighton v Spurs' game tonight *crossing fingers

it started in that manner, two goals so far, and both in Spurs net
if asked before the match, certainly would say that Spurs have more chance to score, so expect some goals from their side too

nevertheless, in my merseyside derby that doesn't matter since both of us have same 4+ answer here
Brighton and Spurs are entertainers, not low goal squads

Yeah, two goals and now they can take it easy so that Spurs can score one goal. That's the ideal scenario for me. I don't see any other result as a possible scenario Grin

Well having Man Utd to win was a bold choice tho Undecided I feel there will be plenty goals in the Brighton v Spurs' game tonight *crossing fingers

I used to always pick Manchester United to win or anything sort like that on most occasion but recently I didnt and heck I even ended up picking Aston Villa to win. I thought yeah I need to start getting real and need to win points from this round so picking Aston Villa seems like a decent choice especially when they are currently quite the favourite. Abit regretting that but oh well atleast they won  Tongue

Tonight I can take it easy because both me and jayce have the same answer for this game. I think this is the only question that settles today. I'm so glad I managed to score one point. Especially when I see a sea of red in the first two questions Grin

Yeah, it was a bold choice. I wasn't sure about it but went with Man United to win after all. I can't tell you why because, as I always like to emphasis, I'm not that big of a sports fan so I often go by my gut because I don't read news about which player is missing, which team has problems and so on. I answer how I feel at that moment and that brought me to Division 1. Sometimes it's better to not be an expert and just answer by statistical data.

Poland will be a tough one for Brazil, yeah - considering that Swiatek is a big favorite. United Cup is being played on hard surface, which is good for Hurkacz as well.

Spain however, with Fokina and Sorribes, is beatable for sure. Fokina is winning, I think Haddad is as well, so this will be decided in the 3rd match, where Melo (a doubles former no.1) should tip the scale in Brazil's favor.

Brazil is better in women tennis, Spain in men tennis, will be interesting to see how it goes, also need Brazil to win at least one, and Spain is better chance than Poland

I agree. When I checked players that will play for Poland, I don't see Brazil winning against them. I thought the same thing about Brazil against Spain, but then I saw Spain players and Brazil could have a chance there. We will see. I'll definitely look forward seeing them win.

I just hope like their other matches Everton finds a way to restore parity to make it 2-2 or even take all 3 points from Man City!

it was not possible in the end
and Everton stays as only team in EPL that didn't get a penalty this season

but it is not a game where Everton should get points, Wolves should be a good chance, dough

~snip
I also hope that Brazil can beat Spain. It would secure me a second point and at worst I would get a draw. I checked the players that will be playing and it will be tough but I hope they can win it. I also must watch Brighton game and hope there won't be more than three goals.

Thanks Everton, 1-0 up with 4 different answers left.

I feel Brazil should beat Spain in tennis, if that one goes my way I'll be decently positioned for a win.
Tomorrow's and Friday's football answers are the same - so I'll enjoy my lead for a bit.

Nice article as usual, I had a mega blockbuster work shift almost 36 hours straight (didn't even got time to use phone) because of Covid but I got a nice bonus to look forward to in Januari so I totally don't mind.

But Daaamn, only 1 point but luckily my opponent is as bad as me, next few questions all the same except of course final football H@H plus the killer game of Arsenal who must win twice for me to lose. They're really good but I'm hoping for Moyes magic to get a draw Smiley

City always finds a way to concede one goal. That was certain before the game, I have both to score on nice ticket.
That's actually not true; but good luck with your ticket either way  Grin

Leave those 11 dimwits and their coach alone, you'd expect a solid performance given their recent triumph in the club world winning both matches flawlessly, a cleansheet against Everton then suddenly becomes too much to ask of them, I just hope like their other matches Everton finds a way to restore parity to make it 2-2 or even take all 3 points from Man City!

They conceded in last 7 in the Premier league this season (if I counted right this morning) and kept only 4 clean sheets this whole season. One of the most lucrative betting options whole season since City is actually playing good defense but somehow they always concede Smiley

Are you blind? You are mentioned in first paragraph of the text  Grin

I can't mention everyone but you made the cut this time around with that feet.

Haha. Yeah, I might be blind Grin I skipped the whole first section of the article and went straight to the section about Division 1. I expected a mention in that section. That's why I didn't noticed it. Anyhow, Thanks for the mention. It's at least some consolidation after a loss like that.
