I was a little late to submit my answers for Round 3 but it is still lucky for me that my competitor did the same as well. Currently if I don't see it wrong I have finally got my first win in this season by a 1-0 score. The 5th question related to Euro U21 teams helped me win the matchup. I was indecisive between picking Gouiri to score or assist and any other outcome. Thankfully my pick was the correct choice in the end. It felt like this was the toughest round among the all rounds so far.

I see so many people many of whose choices turned out to be wrong in the end. The questions looked hard to me in the first place though.

Can't believe my luck, I got too impatient and checked the spreadsheet and it seems that I am now leading Strongkored by 4-2, with both of us getting the tennis question wrong, we only have DOTA question left to grade, so it seems, I have won my second game in this new season. So crazy about tennis, but alcaraz for sure saved my butt like a lot of you guys lol

Kudos to those who predicted about Jamaica. After the Belgium question, this was the next where very few people picked the right answer. USA can't be trusted seriously!

BetBoom is already in the final and they will play the winner from PSG and GG. That screenshot you posted looks confusing I agree, this one is much better to explain it.

Well at least not only me confused you and @Harkorede too Cheesy but you forgot to add the source/link this will be useful for me to check the schedule pls, and thank you for the explanation. It seems that my prediction is on the right track, now we are waiting for PSG.LGD to take place in the Grand Final.

@Harkorede I've bet on E-sports tournament more often on CSGO like 1x2 Market or total Map but I never noticed the tournament table. Indeed my knowledge of e-sports is still low but as you can see the research I have done quite accurately so far, just need one more step Grin

Source is always the same and I shared it at least 3 times in this thread so I sort of expect people to already pick up on it before somebody tags me for shilling them non stop Smiley
https://liquipedia.net/  - for DOTA and LOL; also for many more eSports which will probably never enter BSFL
https://www.hltv.org/ - for CS:GO
https://www.tennisexplorer.com/ - for tennis

I have BetBoom Team to win the tournament and to play against PSG.LGD in the final, I've already won the round against my opponent, Thanks to Alcaraz proving he can adapt pretty well to any surface, and Zverev also failing to secure a place in the final put the round in the bag for me, but now I believe I could be up for 2 different Free bets round If PSG can reach the final and lose to Betboom Team.

This is my answer to the 10th question PSG.LGD - BetBoom Team, BetBoom Team.  I just checked the standings like this screenshot so who goes to the final and who is the winner? I don't understand how the format in this tournament because I saw that there were still other matches today Between PSG.LGD vs Gaimin Gladiators even though PSG.LGD has been defeated by Betboom, I'm really confused  Cheesy

The screenshot is rather confusing, but if you're familiar with E-sports in general like CS:GO or Dota 2, there are often 3 finals, Upper Bracket Final (where the loser get another shot at making it to the final), by playing the winner of the Lower Bracket Final, then the winner faces the winner from the upper bracket final, the main or grand final (which usually is a best of 5 series).

EDIT: Trofo beat me to it, with a better explanation with the bracket image, that's ideally how it works some of these e-sports.

Usual format of DOTA competitions is that top teams after group stage go to upper bracket and teams below them go to lower bracket, while bottom teams go home. Then all the teams from upper bracket when they lose fall to lower bracket. While lower bracket teams when they lose go home. This means that top teams from group stages are allowed second chance and can lose one match in knockout stages. Seems strange but it is actually really good and more fair then what we have in football since one bad day will never get you out of competition.

BB is my choice, and LTC has GG (PSG is on both answers (do they have some connection to PSG football club?)
Yeah PSG is their sponsor and they added it to their name LGD. They are also the only DOTA team that actually have logo of two parts. One would think that PSG gives enough money for proper logo Smiley

What a piece of shit its Zverev man, he can give me a point easily and he lose against a 50 ranking player, GG my last options in this round.

Well heads up and thinking in the next round. Next time i have to not go so bold in some predictions like the NBA draft and tennis question (it was so close).

Good game mate, better luck next time 👍

Alcaraz to the finals, and that brings home my first H2H edge, but GG have leveled up against Talon in the Dota 2 match up  Roll Eyes

same situation with me, Alcaraz win gave me advantage, and now it is all up to Dota, but I am not following that, will see what will happen when Cro2 fills in spreadsheet

Zverev losing is a bit dissappointing, but gave me clear head after last minute change from him to Sinner, neither was right choice

Danil Medvedev with the huge let down for me, as I have already anticipated that Jannik Sinner game would be considered void and it was but Medvedev with non impressive and losing body language see to it that I lost my bet  Huh

Did you watch the game between Bautista-Agut and Medvedev @Harkorede? I watched it for 20 minutes and when you mentioned the body language here, I think you know exactly what we are talking about... I have made bad experiences going with Medvedev in the past and this was again a game when he totally denied to keep playing sometimes, laughing all the time about his unforced errors and about Bautista-Agut points. It came to a point when I thought that it is disrespectful towards the audience who bought tickets to see him. He literally played at times like he would be playing a fun match against his little 5 year old in the garden. The whole body language, the gestures, that was ridiculous. You could see that he cares zero about Halle.
It is not about Halle it is about who Medvedev is and that is why I don't like him as a player. If you comb trough posts in tennis topic you will find that I mentioned several times in the past that he managed to lift his game high enough that he isn't getting pressured that often. But you will see that behavior emerge here and there throughout the season. That body language simply can't exit in top athlete behavior.

GG won their match but they need to win one more before even getting to the final.

@slackovic I remember trough alcohol haze that you asked something about grading DOTA question. It is same as for the tennis. Every correct finalists gets you 1 point and winner one more. So you can have 0-3 points in your H2H match.

Anyway I am back home and will be back to my normal routine from tomorrow. But first I have to make up to wife and kid for missing a couple of days.

It was freaking disgusting to watch him play like that to be frank, and they all are humans and are bound to have bad or even terrible days as we all do, but showing no character whatsoever or even any passion for the match was an eyesore and I thought for a second that it was only myself who noticed it simply because I had money on the line, but this proves me right, If doesn't care about Halle, he could have just withdrawn from the tournament all along, I don't think there is penalty for that, is there ? I'm sure there are 100s of other Tennis players that would have wanted to witness that experience... I guess I'm done with him and Tsitsipas for the time being. I'll just stick to my Rude, Rune and Alcaraz for now!

Think Trofo or someone mentioned that upper bracket guys generally end up as finalists anyway.

Most of the time yeah depending on how long the playoff is but in this case either of the upper bracket is going to be getting a spot in the grand final so yeah if anyone pick both of them then they are guaranteed to have atleast a point on question #10

Betting a couple of bucks on GG and LGD to win their respective game tonight as a support to my pick on our week 3 questionaire. I really feel that GG can manage to pull their self together on this tournament to achieve higher spot. I really think that they can beat BB on the semi finals since I'm assuming that LGD will still have a flawless run on the UB.

I was hoping Talon would eliminate Gamin Gladiators, at least that would give me my first edge in the H2H vs my opponent, but I don't know how to feel with your bet, Talon have been quite impressive later and I would have had my bet on them to win a map rather than ML on GG, Talon have won the first map, and I think any won who stream the fixture on twitch would definitely.

I was literally simultaneously watching Bublik vs Zverev, while also streaming Dota 2 on Twitch, I mean on Saturday afternoon, but when there no football event how much of a choice do we have. That said, Bublik with yet another upset by eliminating Zverev 2-0, that's coming after having great game versus Sinner, I'll probably be backing him for the finals.

Oh Ye Alcaraz doubters today is the day he gets to prove you all wrong, but it's now a very fine margin between me and my opponent, every remaining question now have it's own significant impact on how our fixture would end, and It's very likely that the winner would known by the end of today.

will be interesting to see Alcaraz today, I am not sure that he will win, but I need that one
Korda is good on grass, was a bit surprised that he was favored by bookies against Norrie, little, but favored with @1.8 odds, and he won it easily

changing Zverev to Sinner in last minute was wrong decision, as I see, but it could see me taking Zverev outright @20 for Wimbledon, he looks very good at the moment (not thinking he will win, but even SF is money on that)

Yes, it's as though we have like minds on that, I'm sure looking at some dark horses outright for Wimbledon too, I just need a little bit of more information regarding the seedings and the draw path, so I might have about 2-3 outrights on some underdogs. Alcaraz winning this tour would put him back at World No 1, I don't know if that will be of any effect on the seeding for Wimbledon, so I'll just wait for the draw chart and how both current ends before I draw my conclusion.

Tennis, yeah. Halle would be a killer tournament for whomever bet on the underdog all the time, think it's already a steady 100/1 if you just laid out the same bet game after game. Don't know if that's it but plenty of hope for those guys who don't have a title under their belt yet.

Re DOTA question does seem clear enough for me that we need to pick the finalists, so everything is still possible now, upper bracket just means losing that game gives you another chance. Lose, but win the next series and you're in the final. Think Trofo or someone mentioned that upper bracket guys generally end up as finalists anyway.
