I started the round badly and finished well and in the end 3 points were important. My tennis answer were not that accurate. My only regret was that I changed it at the last minute to 2.5 under in the West Ham game. But no problem, I'm looking forward to the second round. This contest is more fun than I expected. Just checked the spreadsheet and saw Trofo draw with 7 points kinda painfull

The Uruguayan team really brought the house down on the young Italians and I did not like the approach they had towards this game by trying to actually defend throughout the game and everybody knows that the best way to defend is to actually attack...anyway better luck next time boys. Congratulations Uruguay U20 Worldcup winners. Huh well they caused me to lose my bet but luckily it didn't affect my result in BSFL. Looks like I still have to wait for my first win in this competition, I feel like it's really unlucky to score 6 points and still only draw as most others got less. But you have to really feel for Trofo and Strongkored to get 7 and draw, almost all other opponents in all leagues would get them a win. Well done cryptofrka, Cro2 is so strong here! Our online spreadsheet has just been graded, take a look and complain if something is wrong. usually cryptofrka does those things  I will post results and whole season schedule during the day.We have two more penalty points for NavidArt & LFC_Bitcoin. Their answers on question 10 have been deemed in violation with following rules, quote from OP: Quote 3.) Please submit all the answers, and submit them with possible outcomes. When you give free points in your H2H questions to your opponent, it isn't fair to all other league members. 4.) To deal with the situations from points 2) and 3), we are forced to introduce some penalties. Each team that fails to submit answers on time or submits the answers in a way that is not in accordance with competition rules will receive a 1 point deduction – not for that round but from total points won in the league. We think the penalty is fair to keep the league competitive, and you can always ask in the thread if you don't understand some of the questions. Sorry guys but we have to stick to our own rules and try to keep the competition as fair as possible. There were several other suspect answers but either due to the luck or partial research those people did not get the penalty this time around. We will only punish answers that are totally off the grid. There were several 5 set or 4 set answers for WTA RG final but rest of that answer was ok and there were a couple more strange answers for question 10 but all those other participants at lest got a couple of correct teams. Your post made me look at the results posted below the spreadsheet and I see that some of you really killed it in the first round, but only managed to get a draw. For example Trofo and strongkored both gave 7 correct answers like you said and on the other hand cls63 managed to get a win against Slissy with 5 correct answers. But that's how it goes in sport (even though I wouldn't count this competition as a sport ) - sometimes you really do your best but you also must have luck on your side to win. Good game everyone. off to U20 3rd place match, didn't ever expected that it will be interesting for me, but new reality I guess its a good start on season 2 for me, I was so close on losing against you but I think its a draw for us right with Israel winning the 3rd place and Korea got the 4th place. Basically the final round wont matter to our answer because we both had the same selection on the 1st and 2nd winner Pretty good result for me considering I lost to you on the 1st season. That is exactly the point of BSFL to get you all hooked up to as many sport events as humanly possible. Feel free to blaim us when talking to your wifes. I know I am doing that whenever possible I can confirm that the BSFL has definitely make me follow sport much more than I used to. I still didn't start watching games live because with three kids it's rare to have 2 hours of free time at certain period of a day, but I'm reding news, statistics and other things that might get me an advantage in the BSFL. Since I'm still the only one who managed to stay unbeaten since the beginning, I guess it's working for me That's great to hear!
