As announced, we’ll be starting with the cup competition next week.

It will be a single game h2h duel, the winner will progress to the next round.

In each cup week we will have 2 cup rounds, each round consisting of 5 questions and a tie-breaker question.
You will receive questions in advance for both weekly rounds of the Cup and if you lose in the 1st, the answers you gave for the 2nd won’t even be looked at.

If the result is a draw after the first 5 questions, the tie-breaker comes into play. It will consist of 8 bets on the same game and will be like regular penalties. Only the first 5 choices will be looked at, and if it is still a tie after these 5, one per one bet will be checked until the winner is found.
We will check whether the paired players have the same answers for the last tiebreaker question. If they do, they will be asked an additional question before that game begins to avoid the possibility of a draw even after 8 questions.

The 1st cup round will last from Tuesday till Wednesday and the 2nd one from Friday till Sunday.
All Division 1 and Division 2 players (24 players) will be free in the 1st round of the Cup, and 3rd Division players and those that aren’t yet in Divisions (16 players) will play for the remaining 8 spots.
On Thursday we will know who the 1st round winners are and we’ll make the draw for the 2nd round (32 players).
There will be no more seeded players at any point, meaning that a 1st Div player can draw a 1st Div player in any of the future rounds.

The questions and the draw will be submitted today afternoon.

During the Cup no weekly freebets will be given, those will be collected and added to the cup reward pool.
The rewards are 5mbtc, 180$ in freebets and 3 Arsenal/Southampton kits.

The reward distribution is as follows:
1st – 4 mBTC and a kit
2nd – 1 mBTC, 30$ freebet and a kit
3rd – 40$ freebet and a kit
4th – 30$ freebet
5-8th – 20$ freebet

It's going down the wire for me and joker as both of us only got one point from yesterday's questions and are still tied at three points each.

The seventh and eighth questions are the only difference maker as we both failed in the 10th and got the same prediction in the ninth question.

I did watch the 1st half also abit on 2nd half just to make sure that there will be over 3.5 goals on this game. The moment 1st half ended, Im pretty sure that they will score atleast 2 more goals on the 2nd half because Dortmund was so bad but turned out it was 4-2 in the end

Wait, do we have exact seclections? Oh, dear. Nothing is going well for Chelsea and Igebotz right now, and things are only getting worse; this is another point loss for me. I didn't expect Dortmund to spread their legs and concede 3 goals in 20 minutes against their title rival. I have the impression that Bayern-Borussia Dortmund matches are always fixed for Bayern to win because- Dortmund appears to be a child club to Bayern; did you see how bad they were today? And the first goal was a fucking disgrace. I didn't expect the game to go over 3.5. I expected a tough game, not what I saw today.

It is too early to congratulate, in tennis it was red at the end, there are only 2 questions left with different answers and there may be a tie, I hope not and hopefully I win in one of the 2 questions and I will be satisfied

@igebotz : 4-3 currently for us. Well the good news is that I wont lose this round because we only have 1 question left with different answer so worst case scenario for me would be another draw. Well its confirmed that Sabitzer wont start so yeah you are most likely going to get the last point from the Manchester United's lineup question

I wasn't expecting to win on this week absolutely. We played a quite competitive match with casperBGD as the most of our answers were the same. After not being able to win in the league in the first 3 matches, we have got a series of 4 matches after this win. We are going to the cup break by being quite in-form. As Perez is starting the race in last position tomorrow it looks difficult for him to be on podium.

But when it comes to motorsports you never speak by the book.

You are right,we have different answers, but you are currently ahead of me by one goal, and we are waiting for the rest of the competition results. I did not expect my favorite club Liverpool, who are going through a real crisis this season, to score against Manchester City. But now I'm thinking why I changed my mind while giving my answers, as I didn't choose both teams to score, even though my prediction in the EPL pool was 3-2. So, I think if I continue like this, my trajectory will be towards section 3.

Did you watch that match? It was middle of the night for me so I did not watch it live but I have seen few snippets today and it was incredible tennis. These 2 are really on top of the game right now and I am thinking Sinner takes this final. He has terrible H2H with Medvedev, played 5 times and lost all 5 so it is about time to win first match.

I apologize for not answering cryptofrka  personally, but unfortunately, only because of problems with free time (and with VPN, without which I do not have stable access to this site in my country  ), I cannot join the competition, although I would very much like to.

First 15 minutes of the Manchester city vs Liverpool looked decent  enough to suggest City would win this fixture,  but unfortunately they are a goal down thanks to a Mohammed  Salah goal which looked looked rather offside to be honest and am surprised VAR cleared it,a and with that goal there goes my "Liverpool  not to score".

Guess that Liverpool goal makes Arsenal fans happy and title chase slipping away from Manchester City.

Only 2 players picked Sinner to win, correct, but those two players picked the wrong finalist on the other side of the draw.

Anyway, I totally back CRO2 on their basketball ranking, it is the most sensible thing to do because on a points tie, you always pick the one who scores most points in lesser minutes. In football they sort of do this also (goals per 90 minutes, which is how you see who is most likely to score).

Finally for the first time in all this competition I am 1 point ahead of my opponent but we have completely different answers on all remaining questions!

I expected Alcaraz to lose, and predict Medvedev to win the title to make my points equal to my opponent this week, and finally, Alcaraz loses to Sinner in semis so the final will be between Sinner and Medvedev, but seeing how Sinner beats Alcaraz it is quite doubtful that Medvedev will be able to beat him later and become the champion, and if Sinner becomes the champion only two players answer Sinner to be the champion, the rest predict Medvedev or Alcaraz who will champion.

Yeah, we are tjedan right now but I see that we mostly have different answers to other questions so it will be an interesting competition tell the end. Good luck with the rest of the answers and let the best man win this week

Now I have a question for you. By you I mean all the players not just Slissy  

You have all answered basketball question and not one of you anticipated this problem and told us about the fact that we need some sort of tie breaker before the game ended.

There is 2 of us and 37 of you. Don't get me wrong, it is our mistake and our job but it is really difficult to anticipate all possible outcomes of all posible questions and we don't want to ask just generic ones or test only football knowledge.

If anything looks unclear or you anticipate a problem, let us know and we will be more than happy if we can react before event from problematic questions starts.

We are also working on more rules and stricter tests to eliminate situations such as this one as much as possible.

It's difficult to say I'm not following the tennis tournament. I just did some research on all of the players and picked the best one, and what made you think Alcaraz would not make it to the final?

This is another H2H question; we might both end up with nothing after all of our efforts... I wish the h2h was between you and me rather than the entire pool, but the rules are the rules.


This falls into the same category as football possession questions, which can be extremely difficult and causes confusion. I don't like these questions either, it cost me a point last GW, but these little shaky questions makes it more competitive. Lol
