As Newcastle couldn't win in regular time, I'm very happy for being able to get 1-0 ahead against my weak opponent. After seeing the lineups I thought that Newcastle would be able to win and I think they were the better side in the match as well. However N. Forest were the lucky side.

As of the time of the question my initial answer had 7+ sets, I sincerely expected that to be the unanimous decision by the time the first few games from the men's side gets played as I believed they'll all dropped at least set and Shelton have down the pecking order of my favs lately due to easily heavy reliance on just his service game and imo not really improving on all other aspects of his game, I felt Dominic Thiem might take 2 sets off him, but it turned out to be a walk in the park.

I have 5-6 as my decision and my opponent is 7+ guy, I really would have preferred to have my answer as 7+ right now, not because it's more probable but I'd rather not lose that question to my opponent for the round.

I expected more sloppiness from the men to be honest, but they've actually been more dominant against their opponents, Shelton and Korda with convincing 3-0 wins in the first round.. 4 players left, I think 3 sets or less is still a possibility, the first step towards that would have to be Keys winning in straight sets, because the men's own fixtures will be a tough ask from them not to drop at least a set each.

I have no idea. I know that Galatasaray has a great atmosphere when they play home games so I hoped that at least the atmosphere on the stadium can help them qualify for the next round. Judging by the player ratings, Galatasaray didn't play that bad. But I guess they just couldn't score. Even if it weren't for that late goal, they would still not qualify with 0-0 result (Galatasaray lost the first game 3-2).

It was a bit of a surprise for me too, and as you write most people bet on Galatasaray, but after the weak game against Besiktas I bet on a draw, even if it turned out to be a win. But there are still a lot of games left, anything can happen, today I also bet on Slovan (I don't think many did), we'll see what happens.
