It's not looking good for Team Spirit at the moment, Team Falcons have secured the first map while also somewhat significantly leading in the second map already, it'd take a huge upset and miracle for Team Spirit to turn this second map around to force a deciding 3rd map.

I lost horribly against you and well considering that Im playing against 1 of 2 best player currently in division 1 then I guess its kinda expected. One explanation for following question:
All minutes after 90 will be counted as full game. So if Salah and Solanke both have the same number of contributions and Solanke isn't subbed of before 90th minute both will be considered correct. We didn't cover that possibility in the question itself. Probably not gonna happen but better to give advance notice.
This week is a cup week, so we will have only cup semi finals and that one postponed game.

It was an indeed crazy game, I watched the entire second half of the match, it went down the wire, it felt a lot like a game 7 of a playoff series tbh, The Cavaliers bailed them out down the stretch while their offense was struggling all night until the final minutes.
It's quite surreal that they still remain unbeaten after 11 games, which includes some really tough fixtures, looking at their next 4 games, 2 against Bulls, 76ers and Hornets, it wouldn't be crazy to expect them to go 15-0.

Cavaliers with the comeback win against the Nets to win all three games this week. That puts me back in the race for the free bet in our division.

I honestly feel LMS is in a perfect state, this season has been really good and is still quite exciting with a lot of rebuys, even from lower divisions.
If you ask me, there will be no changes to the current format in the next season, and I think Trofo will tell you the same.

I agree, the LMS is literally the most perfect aspect of the competition right now and I also wouldn’t alter a thing from it, there are no handouts or free wins, it’s you against the entire league without any advantage or disadvantage.

Well, then he just goes for 8 points lol. But at least you are still safe from the relegation zone. It's annoying though that vd309 and chi20 seem to be unstoppable. I am ok with how it went so far for me since IIRC I didn't have the best start this season as I lost the first two rounds, which then almost looks as if all hope is lost already. Haaland scored for Man City, and BetBoom won against TeamSpirit is progressed into DOTA final, so I think I have small advantage against cls63 but winner is not decided yet.
I am neutrally observing LMS and I cant believe nobody knocked of Snake from the top yet but there is still time for him to fall
It was a good decision for me to drop out LMS or I think I would have to pay extortion rebuy again.

Maybe a pool at the end of the season to see if everyone agrees with you or not - if everyone likes the current metrics why not. Personally I don't.
I still think your objections are from not actually looking at the whole picture and understanding the system 100%. You felt you were wronged in the round you went out and you never really tried to objectively look at it. It is the most fair way we can count the points and as I said there is max 2 H2H questions per round. Now we can maybe lower that to one per round but we will grade them like we did all this time. Or even loose them if people don't like them but we feel they bring a bit of extra spice to the competition.

Left to me. I wouldn't care much if team with the highest SF at the end of the season emerged as LMS winner.
That would be boring. The main purpose of LMS is the rebuy - to increase the reward and decrease the competition over time.
It works as an added risk/reward element - for those willing to rebuy knowing they can still lose it all in the last round although they have a big advantage.
SF is not a good metric to take at all - some games you win 3-0 without your opponent showing up. Imagine how it would look like if LMS was won by a Div4 player because his opponents didn't show in 4 rounds?
Even better - imagine if a player loses SF in a crucial round because his opponent didn't show up. Imagine you have 8 correct answers but you win only 3-0 because it is a walkover.

I don't think you understand LMS scoring or H2H scoring at all. I know it is my job to explain it but I have run out of words. Don't know how else I can put it, I will try once more but I am just repeating myself here:
H2H questions are scored differently depending what you play
1. To win your duel you have to just be better than your opponent
2. To get the free bet point you have to be best in your Division
3. To get LMS point you need to be best among all the people that are live in LMS
All other questions are scored same in all situations. We never have more than 2 H2H questions, meaning your score can never be more than 2 points off for those situations.

I understand the H2H score system and how the LMS works, but I'm only saying that we don't put too much focus on H2H questions while ignoring general questions( overall performance).
