Croatia were a completely different team in the first half, approaching the game wrongly and got punished for it; the only positive was how Perisic, at his age, was the only player playing like he was there to win, while the others were just drifting around. Nobody expected Croatia to win, but we did expect a very close game rather than the disaster we just witnessed.

Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong in the game- could not even get a PK right. Cheesy

Well it is stupid to talk about stats when you loose 3:0 but on another day this would have finished very differently. Croatia created more xG, had more possession and more shots then Spain. Problem was Spain scored 3 goals from 2 good chances and we scored none from several. Who knows how would the game looked like if we scored one of those. Maybe it would have given us the wings or maybe Spain would be more serious in second half.

It is good for us to get reality check here and there. And while I am writing this, Albania just scored Grin

I was so nervous in the last moments of the Spain - Croatia game honestly. Grin

I was so frustrated at Simon first because of making such a simple mistake but he made up for it by saving the penalty thankfully. It was a really hard fought one though but I managed to be among 8 people who predicted the answer correctly if I didn't count wrong.

Expected much more from Hungary, this level of defending is simply not good enough for EURO. If you make that many mistakes you will get punished.

I also of course expected a win from Hungary during this European competition as I saw they have played really really well in the qualifiers,completely different from Switzerland who barely made it and Belarus proved a very strong opponent for them.I believe that Switzerland were more pragmatic in this game and scored their chances,Hungary was really unorganized which is a surprise to me considering their form in the qualifying.I think it is only the first game and there is time yet the team who netted 3 points,Switzerland has made a great step toward the passing of the group round as they just need 1 more point in most cases to qualify,especially with the new formula that even the best third places qualify from such competition.Looking forward to Group B games which are about to start as both Spain and Italy there and I am interested to see them.

Germany is a second homeland for people from Croatia. That's why there is a lot of Croatian fans. When they chose Germany as the host for this EURO, I knew it will be like playing at home. Plus we are pretty crazy when it comes to football. Maybe you saw the pictures from the welcoming party when Croatia finished 3rd in the World cup 2022 or when we won silver in the Nation's League last year.

That is it. There is no specific number to be eliminated per round, the lowest score gets kicked out and need to buy-in, that could be 1 or 20 people.
