Gox is insane. Don't assume event for 1 second the price is real. They have 2-mo waiting periods for withdrawal of fiat.
I was curious why there is such a huge spread too. Is it hard to get money into Bitstamp? I have not used the site but it seems like a great arbitrage opportunity for someone.
We are all used to a 10-20 USD spread between gox and bitstamp, but this time it is really nuts:
Gox: 551 USD
Stamp: 487 USD
That is a stunning 64 USD spread!!
How long will this last? Will people take the risk to try arbitrage on gox?
Does anyone have already tried that? How long did you have to wait for the transfer of funds from gox to your bank account?
