You guys should probably keep this thread on topic, it's already full of spammers & everything someone bumps it a new spammer will find their way here.

Also, thanks for quoting my address.

it's not my fault for not noticing a PM hidden somewhere inside the forum database.
sure, some people here cry scam or impostor when they see something suspicious. and you're one of them.

and by the way you can't move a post to another section. but whatever you say, lordy. I'm too tired to argue too much.

Yeh, you can move a post, you cut and paste, or post a second time and delete the first post.

Got it?

(blah boo hoo)

first post is more of a scam accusation and this is not scam accusation thread. you stake address here not sign a message complaining about a service, and like you said you've already staked another address just two weeks ago. asking someone who have staked 3 addresses to sign a message from an old address is reasonable enough in my opinion.

it's possible that shorena didn't notice your second staked address. however I can't speak for him(??).

This is me rolling my eyes ... again ... @_@ As I've already said in a PM to shorena I was too embarrassed to say in the minute or two between posting the first message, going off to do something else, realising I posted in the wrong section and coming back to move to a more appropriate section, someone had quoted the first post, so I chose to leave the first post so as not to confuse anyone... However, there are definitely a few dears here that are running out of people to cry scam or impostor at so indeed questioned why I didn't sign using a not relevant to the message wallet...

Some of you need to chill, and stop trying to look so hard...

Why would I want to sign with the old address? 1PYPjneN6iiXxgNEAMdcipQmR4JKcZSJ7F is the wallet that was affected?

How do we know its still you if you just stake a new address?

This is me rolling my eyes... @_@

I take it you didn't read the first post?

...and when I staked another wallet just recently, how come you never asked me to sign *that* wallet with the first?

If this is something that would really help us then I can do the same thing. Things may happen that we didnt expect so it is better to save some for the future. Like this saving my bitcoin address here will somehow help me secure the address I have right now..

Here is mine: 39HKhypY2Uqv8nxxE1uWhT1jkwkD372kfw

can you even sign a message with that address? hint: don't stake an address if you don't control its private key.

What... Would one do if one lost access to their old private key? How would they prove they are still the original owner?

You cant, unless you have other means (e.g. other addresses from old posts, PGP key, etc.).
