I can't find an online tool where it will verify, actually. In electrum it works fine. Is it because it's a native segwit address ?

Bitcoinsummoner : if I had done it I would have used an electrum wallet, but I have several old ones and I'd need some time to remember the passwords, so a quick search just to see if I have posted was ideal, now I now there is no need to bother. I will repair my mistake and sign a message now.

I strongly disagree; in case of using the forum search function, he should only select the Meta board, and add an author to the search function. It is more precise, and usually faster

I tried it and still the same though. The same on desktop and mobile using firefox. 

In brainwallet try to use the QT version, paste the message without the extra new line. Then just add it yourself and it will work, but in the permalink will fail to verify, weird.

I did forgot to check in mycelium, but I just tried it and got verified. The one is in question is using brainwallet, it still failed to me though.

I managed to verify it somehow with brainwallet  but the weird thing is that I cannot get the permalink to work.

It is a tragedy that the message signing feature in Bitcoin Core is broken because it can no longer create an address that it can use for signing.
