Autobot's message was modified over an hour after first being posted.

Hello,

Yes indeed.

As @iasenko mentioned yesterday I did a test on my last message.

One question, did you use my script to be alerted ?

If so, do not hesitate to provide the link of the messages you are archiving Wink

Note that the script is not yet perfect, there is notably a bug during the change of day, which makes that the bot detects an update of the message when it is not the case.

Autobot's message was modified over an hour after first being posted.

It was posted by the creator's main account, not by the bot's account bot_avsignatures . The bot is still under development and it's in a test mode, so don't be too critical Smiley BTW the idea for the bot is very good.

Could you also sign a message using one of your old addresses, like this one: 1ERHkyaSFUrmTr4pxK4a8GXrb9htADD876
It'll go a long way to prove your account hasn't been compromised or sold.

No need to apologise, it's not a huge deal. And kudos for staking your address to help secure your account. I just think that you just might want to consider researching and understanding what you're doing before you blindly copy/paste things in the future.

Cryptocurrency is a fantastic innovation, but at the same time can be terribly unforgiving and there have been numerous instances in the past of people getting themselves into trouble by not fully understanding what they were doing.

However, I would like to point out that your message is actually factually incorrect and somewhat misleading. That is NOT a SegWit address. It is a legacy address Tongue

Not sure where you got that signed message template from... or why you chose to use it if you're not actually going to use a bech32 segwit address as per BIP173

I basically went to a random page of this topic, and copied a template there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm sorry if it's misleading..

Are you sure you copied the correct address?

Yes, I am very sure about it -> https://i.imgur.com/DAEVSYR.png (blockchain wallet)
So it's an online wallet, I must warn you that this is generally a very bad idea to use online wallets as a stash for your bitcoins.
There must be some sort of a bug with it because I have used 3 different services, including my electrum, to check your signature. All of them failed to verify with the address you provided. Please, for your own safety, use dedicated and stand-alone wallet programs like electrum.
