A bitcoin address isn’t like a bank account; you don’t need mountains of paperwork and ID to set one up. In fact, they are generated randomly, and are simply sequences of letters and numbers. Think of your bitcoin address as a safe deposit box with a glass front. Everyone knows what is in it, but only the private key can unlock it to take things out or put things in. So why would one refuse? possibly you don't have 30 BTC to cover, who knows! Coinbase has already been subpoenaed by New York and can guess is in constant communication with them. So I ask what privacy other than to protect what we BCP assume? Big time sportsbook operations don't use coinbase that is a fact.
Anyhow prove us wrong we okay with that, it wont be the last time!
