If you like playing slots, the Stake vs Eddie is a better promotion than slot forum challenge (non-VIP).
Why I say better, because the minimum bet is lower $0.1 only while the slot forum challenge is $0.2.

Well, the money he received from the settlement, will never cover his losses. (He lost $127m and the claim was for $20m, they obviously settled for less)

For some reason I will agree to SATWAT. Not gonna lie even with its negative image it's still like advertising or promoting what he's playing. Like this we're talking about what he's doing. Well, you are right, it's completely, a wrong thing to do if one's major reason for playing is nothing else other than to meet a bonus requirement, I mean, this is one of the ways people end up gambling too much and ending up as gambling addicts, and even though I also believe that stake love to have all their customers actively playing, I believe it's for them to be having fun and not chasing after bonuses, as this actually goes against the general rules of responsible gambling.

Mathematically it is correct that a user may lose $100 to wager $10k, and maybe the bonus drops during the next stream will be closed to that amount but we also need to remember that a user need to be able to claim all the codes which means that a user need to be fast than others because each code usually fully claimed in less than a minute. Good internet connection and fast copy+paste the code will be the main key in order to claim all the codes. A little disappointed because last Saturday there were no drop codes on telegram even though I had prepared 5 tickets to hunt for the codes, the information we heard was that there was a slight problem with the claims system I don't know exactly what it is, but I suspect there will be many users who complain because they failed to claim. The admin in the group said that all bonus codes this Saturday will be doubled so I just want to remind you that if you meet the requirements, don't miss it. I estimate the total bonus might reach $60-100 for each user who meets the requirements.

That's a nice suggestion, but I don't need to reach the support to control the temptation of playing casino games. The in-house games already out of my priority list to spend the bonuses. Well what good are "double claims" next week if people had the required wager this week.
Unless they make it "wager for the last 14 days" instead of the last 7 days as usual as usual people besically get cheated out of expected promotions. Many people push their wager to make it enough for stream codes, missing out on that is a tough loss.
I am 100% sure they won't change it to 14 days for the next stream, this weeks wager bis basically lost regarding stream rewards. Doubling it for next week changes absolutely nothing and isn't even some kind of apology for their incompetence.

By the way, stake knew the claims are not working for quite a while obviously. Normally last week and so on there was almost every day a bonus code in the high roller telegram group, since monday there was not one.
Of course stake could have informed players about this, but then they would miss out on valuable wager. Another shady move in my eyes. But that's the common practice these days.

Funny side story, a friend of mine played this week on his account he didn't touch for over a year. He told me: "man, I will claim some codes after quite a while".
