During the past two livestreams inwhich the owner Eddie had also mentioned that they will no longer be including these amounts in the calculations of their weekly and monthly bonuses given to their players which started earlier last month.
So if you also noticed your amount of gameplay was cut out of the equation for your weekly, then your not alone.
He also explained that the table games such as stake originals Blackjack which has a low house edge of less than 0.5% will also not count.
Well this is another way of them saying that those regular amounts all players were expecting are being cut off indefinitely.
I was away for Easter weekend and I did not wager for a week, but I still got "base" payment. Eddie said they reduced the "base" amount that were paid to gamblers.. he did not say that it was removed.
I think he said... they do not want players just claiming their "base" amount every week.. without gambling, so they will reduce the "base" amount, if people continue using just their money to gamble.
Actually he didn't say they reduced the base amount but more that they raised the amount you have to wager to receive the base amount.
For example for many players it was enough to wager like 1-1.5k to receive the base amount. According to some member in the stake forum it is around 2-3k now, according to different sources.
Anyway, they reduced the amounts if its not "enough" wager, not good news for the members and yet another blow.
The bad thing is, they can actually do that because they know the member keep playing and wo't go somewhere else because they still offer more incentives than other sites.
If this goes on of course and some new competitor enters the ring with similar bonus offers this downsizing of rewards can make them lose customers in the long run.
