I have not tried it yet, I used to try to complete the Stake vs Eddie challenge in the last few days especially after I claim the weekly bonus.

The Stake vs Eddie challenge is a better option to participate IMO, with the same minimum bet and has a better reward but of course the minimum multiplier is higher.
The latest one was to hit 300x on Jewel Bonanza, I could hit it fast (no more than 200 spins) in the last day and the reward is $58.
VIP slot challenge is great as well, but you need to be so lucky enough to hit thousands multiplier because every week the top winners get thousands multiplier.
My last participate was few months ago when I hit 5,000x on Fruit Party, I submitted my bet on the VIP challenge and I was out of top 10 positions and I got $30 only (+ extra $30 for level 2 verification).

I know that they offer promotions on all popular sports and maybe I expect too much, but all promotions are not super appealing to me and 2-3 years ago, the promotions were better.

I believe he saying so because he is claiming to have problems with poker on Stake. He seemingly trying to test the percentage claimed by the casino and is not satisfied with his own percentages.
