Of course, because the higher level we are trying to hit = the higher wager requirement to be done by us.
Just for example 5% left to level up for Plat IV, it means that we should wager 5%*$1.5M=$75,000 and 5% for Plat V we should wager 5%*$2.5M=$125k
The best way for leveling up is just by enjoying our gambling/wagering activity, this way, we wont be forced to wager/play beyond our own limit.
Lets just take level up bonus as a side bonus, not to take it as a main target from our gambling activity.

Never Chase to reach high levels or to rank up. This could end up in losing. Good is to enjoy gambling and the same could let your rank move higher. Maybe this can take time, but with the chase of wagering to reach next level will cause heavy loss if things were done without proper plan.

Chasing new level is fine as long as you know the risk and you know when the right time to do it. Almost similar to ryzaadit, I also chased Platinum II months ago, I forced my self to chase it when I needed around 20% more to reach Platinum II. Means that I had to wager around $50k at the time I wanted to chase it. I decided to deposit $200 and started wagering on dice and plinko, luckily I managed to reach Platinum II with my $200 deposit and I did not lose it. I was absolutely ready to lose the $200 as I knew that the reward for reaching platinum II is $400, so it was worth to risk $200 for $400.

As long as I can remember, winners of the $50k weekly giveaway do not need to watch the stream. Stake usually announce the winners in their own forum and post the link to claim the prize. I just tried to open the forum, but unfortunately the forum seems down now. You may check it later on stakecommunity.com and check the Promotions board then find the giveaway sub-board. I am not really sure if they have changed how they distribute the prize recently, but they used to post the coupon link the forum for winners to claim it or in other words Stake did not send the prize directly to the winner.

Stake still uses the same method when distributing prizes so users must claim the coupon to redeem the prize besides that the Coupon also has a claim deadline
In the past I saw one winner late to claim a coupon and he had to confirm via support, fortunately the support team was willing to create a new coupon
Oh yes if only with 2 tickets we don't need to expect too much because our competitors have hundreds of thousands of tickets.
