My understanding is the same. The bet isn't a win, because the full time match was a draw. The match result came out of the penalty shootout. Based on the odds, the winner is supposed to receive the mentioned payout as the odds were 2.75 for Argentina to win the match.

As per this screenshot, he bet $1,000,000 on Argentina's win in the final. The odds were 2.75, so when Argentina won the match, he got $1,000,000 * 2.75 = $2,750,000. That is how i can understand this bet.

That's a simple match but I am surprised that he took the risk of $1,000,000 in a single bet. Think for a moment, if France had won the title, he would have lost all this money. Shocked

that happened to me too, in my case when got bored, I have to go to an offline casino outside my country, it's not far away from my country (Malaysia), Genting island, where foreigners besides Malaysian are allowed to play there. but, when don't have money, playing card with my friends is enough good to get rid of boredom.

Well, the two supposed options on your question is basically the same, though I understand it differs by mindset, many players see gambling as having, I see gambling as having fun though sometimes, the needs of life pushes me to gamble to see if I could earn some profit, but normally, gambling shouldn't be seen as a way to make money but a way to have fun, most times for me, having my mobile phone in my hands, sitting comfortably on my sofa, playing some nice games and betting little amount at each round is how I relax and have a good time.

So I don't know about you, but for me, gambling on Christmas, is the same as sitting down, relaxing and having some fun.

Some times it doesn't send out notifications for all of them, I noticed that too. Think missed about three or four of them out of the nine given out for yesterdays number of drops.
