Let me take a guess..... you spend more than $2000 of your own money to wager that $332k.. right? How is a reward of $100 worth it, if you lost so much money trying to achieve it? Even if you multiplied it four times as you said..... then you still made a huge loss on it.  Roll Eyes

I do not chase these challenges, because it is basically designed to reward a few whales..... the rest of the people get a fraction of a percentage of the big amount. Yes, it is a little bonus... for the money you spend on the site.... but it is so small... that it makes no impact on your losses.  Roll Eyes

I would say worth or not is depending on our own purpose. If he did not force himself to wager as much as he can to win one of the prize, it can be something worthless but he did wager just to play the game and not targeting for the wager contest, the prize is still worth. Even if he lost some money during the contest, the prize can be called as lossback. All in all, I do believe he is an experienced gambler who knows how to gamble responsibly and I do not think that he forced himself to wager more just because of the wager race.

Guys ...are you really going to complain about the little bit extra that you received for your Weekly Bonus now? Most of us has been getting less, since they changed the way that the bonus is calculated.. so a little boost like this.. is welcomed.  Smiley

My Weekly was bumped with a very small amount, but my losses for the week was much worst than any previous weeks, so I guess the new calculations worked in my favor this time.  Cheesy
My Weekly Bonus based on current calculations is up to $30 but a few weeks ago it wasn't that great at only $20. So I also still don't really understand how to calculate the bonus. If it's based on weekly allocations it might be quite reasonable if what you get will vary.

I never get in this act of calculating how much bonus should i get or how the bonus s calculated as it will only make me confuse. I think most of us really don't know the exact formula for the bonus calculation.
I just  love to play with this free money and it is indeed good from stake that they give us bonus periodically.
I understand that some people may like to know exactly how the bonuses are distributed but I think there are several reasons why this is a bad idea, to begin with it is way more fun if you do not know exactly how much you are going to get, if you knew then there will not be any mystery to it and the whole process will be more boring, which is I suppose something gamblers do not want to experience, and the second reason has to do with avoiding people from trying to play the system and obtain a bonus bigger than what they otherwise deserve.

I have one more view to this if the formula became so easy to predict then wouldn’t the bad user’s try to game it, and if they were caught then they would complain that Stake is unfair hence I feel that it’s best if no one knows how to calculate it.

With the race nearly done, there are indeed big bets being placed so to rank up in the standings.
While doing a few rounds on crash I had seen a platinum 6 player wagering 130eth per round while I was there.
The thing landed on under 1.20x all those rounds but the player raised his wager amount up to 300eth every round until I left
I have also seen the bets of that whale, he was betting 65 to 130 ETH in crash game, but he was losing most of his bets. He had reached to the diamond rank when I was watching his bets. I have wagered $332k in a month and got 2469th position in the race. The whale wagered more than my monthly wagered amount in just two minutes Roll Eyes.
Whales betting more than our entire savings is common, I have watched a guy wagering 12000 bitcoin in a single day once, and not like this was during when bitcoin was low neither, this was when bitcoin was at around 10k dollars, which means that 12000 bitcoin wagering was around 120 million dollars give or take, and he lost about 300 bitcoins total as well, so that was about 3 million dollars and he stopped.

This dude wagered my entire balance in a single bet, he wagered about 1 bitcoin per bet give or take ,some times even more, sometimes a little less, and I never had that much money before, and this guy was doing it per bet. It is cool to watch those things, I feel jealous a bit but also love watching them.

@wiss19 it’s become quite normal to see whales on Stake, but challenging them or trying to replicate them is a bad idea and this is from my initial early day’s gambling experience that one should always stick to his own limits, and not get influenced by these whale’s actions.

I also used to play with that kind of approach.  100% of the payment is allocated to wagering.   I am lucky that I got it doubled more often.  But recently I also think that it is unwise to plan to spend all the earnings on wagering.  If I am not lucky then I will be left out with nothing so I agree that we should only allocate a certain percentage of our earnings to gambling so that whatever happens in our session at least we still have funds in our pocket.
Either we are lucky or quite the opposite is not it? In fact, the management is quite effective even though it is simple. But back to the gambler if they have more funds may drop all if you bet and get double what you got. The level of pleasure of people must be different from the target he wants to achieve every time he has a large enough fund. It's just that the distribution management makes me more in control of what I have.

Last week I received the payment and turned it to $80 and then lost everything.
You spent it all and nothing left? it's a bad day to have turned it into $80 and instantly your gambling control is out of control. I don't think it's a good choice when you've already won but it's too much fun to lose it all. Like you do I also get paid weekly, but in this case I often make an allocation of how much I should take and how much I should leave at the casino. So I'm ready to lose. Try next time to use management like that when you get weekly pay. At least 5-10% is left for betting.

Congratulations on the win of $100 from the birthday race. I would like to know through which game you made the prize money 4x, because most of the time my choice used to be dice. Initially I experience profit, but I wouldn't be able to keep up the win. Last week I received the payment and turned it to $80 and then lost everything.

Great 4x from the reward.

Meanwhile, my last race ~XD After this race never focused again on this. That's was my last crazy bet section. Need to handle the gambling-addicted after that race. I think, If that time the prize is more than 5M $.

I will get over 100-200$ ~XD.

Congratulation bro.

200-300K$ It's really big, I remember my activity reaching 3700 Rank. Need a thousand dollars to achieve this, the reward are small so hoping you're winning in the section. Rather than chasing the rank ~XD.

Less than 22 hours remaining for the end of Stake 5th birthday race. Currently I'm near to 2400 rank with $332k wager. My highest achievement was to reach between 1k to 1.1k rank during this race. But my rank gradually decreased as the other users has wagered a lot quicker than me.
During the last few hours it is possiblee to see a good number of whales making a big change in the lead list. $332k is a big wager according to me. During the event if you haven't experienced loss, then this is gonna get you good bonus as well as winning reward for getting placed within the top 5000.

For the place in the race I am at 3797 and do not need to wager anymore since I will get $75 for being in the top 4000.
I was at 4197 last week and noticed the prize was lowered to $50 so being in the top that I am in is good enough.
Totaled wagered during the month long race is $217k for me.

The pre-monthly bonus has no effect on the last wager right? I mean all users get the same bonus based on account level?
Then the monthly bonus might be a little different because there is a net loss calculation.
Yep, pre-monthly bonus has no connection with the wager. It depends on our VIP rank only. However, your bonus amount will be lowered if you don't make deposits or wager a decent amount for a few months.

I can confirm this, my pre and post monthly bonus is lowered already. It used to be $25 for me as Platinum II user. My last two bonuses (post monthly on Aug and this month pre monthly) is no longer $25 but $17. Yes it must be because I have reduced my gambling activity a lot since months ago, so I will not complain about it.

Well for this one bonus I also experienced it only claiming $15 as Platinum 1 it means not based on your activity but indeed all users experience it
I'm guessing because we got 2x pre monthly in the last few weeks in birthday celebration , there was also a double weekly bonus last week right?

What are you talking about?

Everyone got a fixed amount for pre-monthly depends on the rank they have, @Mahdirakib is correct. The things you're posting is for "Weekly & Monthly" while everyone got a different amount depends on their waggering, rank and several things factor.

Pre-monthly is always the same, everyone gets the same amount depending of their rank. You just need to wager to make sure qualified for maximum amount you can get for your rank. The big question for "pre-monthly" is only how many we need wagering to be qualified for maximum reward.
