If we are talking about the future, I can see them doing it a lot easier and not have a problem. How? Well, they got the promotion of Drake and UFC and Watford right now, meaning they are actually very big, and if they keep growing like this then they will not be bothered by the fact that even if half of their customers leave them, they will be fine about it since they would still be making a profit.
When everywhere else have 1-2k customers, this place has 10k or more, so if they reach like 30k customers one day, and ask KYC from all of them and lose half, that's still 10 times bigger than the next place and they would still keep making a ton of profit.

It's just a personal opinion that goes against the owner's wishes, how can they be satisfied with their current customers while they continue to spend millions just to make promotions and advertisements and you certainly know what the purpose of advertising and promotion right? this is a calculation that is easy to read when casinos run massive advertising and promotions it means they are targeting something and surely one of them is a new customer.

This is alright though, because Stake never forced anyone to fill out the KYC, and back in the day they didn't force people to join their forum neither, but they had challenges there, meaning you would have to start an account there, and I didn't and they are still here, they never left.
This means that you are not forced to do your KYC, if you do that then it is great for you but if you do not do it then you could still gamble and earn money and withdraw and would not be forced to do your KYC unless something is wrong. I have seen a few people, only a few, that said they were asked it but those were situations that was troubling, this isn't, this is just an offer.

Is it safe to use a VPN?

It's not safe to use VPN, when you are accessing the site through 3rd party service to bypass the block is too risky for me. An alternative solution to change your DNS. Mirror site can be a solution but changing DNS may become a better choice as it will not fake your location and you may not face the risk to be identified as a suspicious users or being asked to provide more information about your identity. I rarely used VPN. Maybe getting to another website would be fine because you wouldn't be doing something too illegal, but there are people who come from nations that have online gambling illegal, and then they still gamble here, so it is not only illegal to break in the contract and reach the website, it is double illegal to gamble here as well.

Now I don't understand, is this birthday bonus to be given on the stake's birthday or is it a bonus given to each person when it's that person's birthday? for example for people who have a birthday in June and even if they complete the level 2 verification tomorrow for example, they will not receive the birthday bonus will they have to wait for June of the next year? It is clear that the birthday bonus is for those who have passed level 2 KYC and as per email you quoted above, it is also clear as it is being said "since you have verified your birth date". Means that it is given on your birthday not on stake's birthday. As per your example, I'm sure the user will get the birthday bonus next year as he complete the KYC level 2 after his birth date. Previously they offered a weekly bonus increase for KYC users so not everyone is interested in maintaining privacy there is also another reason because they are not active players so don't need the 10-15% bonus so now they have reason to complete KYC.

Because of legal concern that is attached to there gambling license to operate. Why is there so much discussion about the birthday bonus. This is not new.
