Like for example if a whale is wagering around $1m, I am sure its rakeback at higher VIP is much bigger.  Aside from that, there are additional bonuses for higher rank VIPs

Afaik rakeback is not calculated based on your VIP rank, it is all the same 5% of the house edge.
I'm not sure if rakeback is higher for Platinum IV and above since I'm Platinum III and my rakeback percentage is 5%.
Additional bonus such as level up bonus, reload, pre-monthly, monthly, weekly, etc are absolutely bigger for higher VIP rank.

It looks like the problem is solved now if there is any.  I recently am at the stake chatroom and everything looks normal.  Probably its just a system glitch and now it is fixed.

Must be visual bug only, I think I experienced similar situation in the past.
There was even an opposite visual bug when my balance shown multiple times bigger than what I have.

Right now there's an issue with Stake, the chat box is on riot because all balances of the players are gone.

I don't know what the technical issue is all about, this is my first time experiencing this kind of issue.

No notification from their social accounts about what's going on.

Maybe only whales don't think about leveling up because they already have a lot of money and the benefits at high levels are not as big as the money they have, but small gamblers or gamblers with limited funds may be interested in pursuing high levels or leveling up because hoping to get a lot of profits that they can still use to gamble.
I have ever experienced that and continue to pursue level increases, especially if when have reached above 50% the desire will be even greater, but sometimes get bored if you continue to lose on that day.

I think whales also aim for higher rank VIP because of higher bonuses.  Like for example if a whale is wagering around $1m, I am sure its rakeback at higher VIP is much bigger.  Aside from that, there are additional bonuses for higher rank VIPs

To reach the next highest level, we don't need to spend more money but just do it in moderation and gamble as usual.
More repetitions you make your bets, more total value of your bets will be. It will help you to meet criteria of badge, contest, etc. Don't try to make a few bets with big value, it will increase risk of losing your capital. Use appropriate capital for betting, do many bets and at acceptable odds, you will achieve criteria in a more safely approach.
I guess people can try what you suggest so they can understand but still don't make big value bets because it's not worth it. Better to bet as usual and have no desire to reach the next level.

Sooner or later, we can move up to the next level and won't feel rushed to reach the next level. Whatever happens, never try to play gambling harder because it can make us lose more money. It's better we play as usual, enjoy the moment of playing, use enough money, and later you will get to the level you want and not realize it.
Sooner or later you will achieve next ranks, next badges and win contest. It requires patience and good control for your capital. If you lose your capital, you can not get any higher rank or higher badges. If you deposit more money and repeat it again, you will lose money again. Your total loss will increase consequently and it is unacceptable in terms of gambling responsible and risk management.
Requires patience and good control because there will be a lot of temptation to spend more money. If your losses increase just for chasing the next rank, the next badge, or for winning a contest, I don't think that's good either. Apart from that, you can even face another problem, gambling addiction, because all you have in mind is how to get to the next level.

You're right, I wasn't thinking of leveling up either, but over time every time we make a deposit, it will give us an extra level. There are types of gamblers who really just want to play and don't pay attention to the level, but because they often play continuously and when checked, the level is quite high. As you said, it's better to play as usual.
That's great if you're not thinking about leveling up. But if you make frequent deposits, it might give you a chance to level up by yourself but you have to think about how much loss you will incur. Don't be influenced by anything when you play gambling; just enjoy your time by playing various games.

I don't know if he specifically has a Blue Samurai video, although it wouldn't surprise me.  He does have a lot of videos showing off the different slots, and he's making more almost daily recently it seems like.  As someone not familiar with these types of slots, they all look pretty much the same to me. I must say that it is a bit shocking to see someone gamble without six figure buys like it's nothing.  He's seems completely disconnected with the amounts of money he's wagering.  I saw him win $400,000+ in a recent video yesterday.  I couldn't imagine...
I remember reading in WIRED a year ago that those are house money, so for him it's basically nothing. If he loses - he just asks for more. Those vids are there to show what is possible on this or that particular slot, and sometimes I enjoy watching them, but I would never recommend to anyone to risk such big amounts themselves, and, btw, neither Steve is recommending it. "Do not gamble more than you can afford to loose." - this what I just read under one of his slot videos.
I really do not know if it is house money or not, but if it is like that the idea doesn't really change at all in the long run. The idea is that you could gamble that much and you could win or lose, and the idea is to get you hyped about gambling when you watch it and that means we are getting hyped so it is working.

I know that it is not easy to get that much money, if I had that kind of cash I would have bought a house for myself instead of gambling with it of course. But if you could see that and wager with 40 dollars instead of 400k dollars, that is still working and enough people all together like that, would still be a big profit to casino as well.

Here the things.

Everyone are not focused on the "VIP" rank, but while the bar progress in around 90-95%. You're gonna to interested to up the rank, because you can get more rakeback, feature, rank up bonus, etc.

Is always like that, even you don't really care but once you see the bar progress is really close to 100%. Then, you're gonna to grinding that shit.
Truly speaking when you find a small percentage left to reach 100% the mind tempts us to keep wagering and reach 100%. By the time very few will think of the bonuses and all, whereas the majority thinks however need to reach 100%. In the event of reaching the last 5-10% majority will loss. I'm just a bronze member, and I came near to bronze without big loss. When I was close I wasn't able to control and lost everything, but the temptation made me to wait for the payment and reach the bronze level.

Thank you for the replies brothers and to panjul07 for providing the link. Really helpful especially the calculator provided in the article. I didn't know I already wagered that amount to achieve the Bronze until now.  Cheesy It may take 3 more seasons before I reach the Silver if I stayed on the same pace of my gambling habit. It's okay and indeed it's one of the good perks of just having fun.
No worries, I won't bet blindly. I know a lot of sports but I don't usually bet on them because I am not comfortable with them yet.
Do not try to overwager your amount that you normally wager just to reach those levels. I would highly suggest that the best thing you could do right now would be trying to stick with your plan and do not get too much ahead of yourself. If you try to reach Silver by gambling more than usual, that will result with you losing a lot more and it doesn't worth it.

I personally think Silver and anything higher would be a great thing if it were to happen, and I felt amazing when it first happened to me, but that doesn't mean that it would be worth it to lose money, at least not just for that, lose while gambling of course if you have fun, but not to be silver.

He has the money so he can risk and wager that much amount in gambling. Everyone cannot do the same as most of us are gambling only with our hard earned money. We do not have free money to spend and lose in gambling.
Most of us have only limited funds for gambling and we cannot risk more. However, some people may try to copy him and later regret losing everything.

Who says that it is really his money that he is playing with ? Most sponsored youtubers (Ayezee, Foss, Xposed,...) all gamble with money that they get from the casino and they all can keep a percentage of their winnings. Maybe for Stewilldoit, it is different, but we can't tell it for sure.

Can you please provide a link for the Blue Samurai game on the Stevewilldoit? I couldn't find it on both channels, Stevewilldoit and SteveWillDoIt Two. Maybe it has something to do with my location, or I'm looking at the wrong places.

We should not assume that no one of us can win huge amounts, lady luck favors whoever she wants and doesn't care about anything or anyone,if she has decided you will win big then you will win big. These videos are impressive and to me they serve as a motivation, although I never play with huge amounts, that big wins can happen even if we play in smaller scale bets on our favorite slot, that x5000-x30000 max multiplier on the top pay line in a slot is there for a reason,I dream of hitting it even with the minimal bet and I would be very happy if I do.

BTW, will the government of India allow gambling site ads on their national TV sports channel?
I think the Indian government is not allowing betting site ads on TV  or in any digital media form because of the prohibitions and the possible effect of the risks involved especially to the minors according to the sources below:

It was both mentioned there that online betting ads are misleading and do not appear to be in strict conformity with the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and other laws.

Definitely, they have lossback for higher Tier level accounts but no idea if they offer lossback for gold account losing $50k in single bet.
Probably, they will compensate losses with higher weekly based on wager/loss calculation and higher reloads for plat 4+ accounts.
I don't want lossback bonus if it costs me $15k. Highly doubt it is over $1000 for such a nightmare.
On what basis the loss back will be calculated. Recently the weekly/monthly bonus were also changed. Few weeks back Stake team mentioned about its update on the bonuses provided. One thing I found important, If you're having an unlucky week and incur losses, we'll be adding extra to your bonus.. Here it isn't mentioned about the levels. So, it looks like it is common for all levels of gamblers.
