The Stake marketing team are very clever, because it is kinda a Win/Win promotion for them... You have to wager $1000 to be eligible and you only getting 50% back on a losing bet.

If it was a fully "Win/Win promotion for them" as you say every sportsbook would offer it. Wagering $1000 with 1 or 2% House Edge only brings 10-20$ to the house, then you would still theoretically earn 30-40$ at the end even if you were betting specifically to be eligible to this promotion. But IMO most of people using this guarantee don't need to bet more than they usually do.

You can partnership with UFC player + stake now more often hiring twitch or youtube comparing the old-time only focus on UFC promotion. So, IMO they have a good gain because the promotion and keep going.

Someday, he will get the sponsorship from the casino because I feel he can do that, especially if he upload more videos about his play. We know that the more videos that we upload, the more chances for the audience to come and watch the video and that means a promotion for the site and the site will visit his channel and see if he can help them promote the site. Besides that, all things start from the small thing (one step). After what he got so far, I am sure he is not a "small better" anymore but some "intermediate gambler" or a "big gambler" for most of us.

No one knew. You took the risk you was happy to take. You didn't lose the money is just that you didn't win which is the 2nd best position to be in after a bet.

This is not something you can improve on in the future either, because you just don't know the odds for a draw... all you can do is as you did put your money into a hopefully better place/strategy Wink

I should have followed my own advice and bet against Eddie's Guarantee bet on Crystal Palace, but I thought I would go the safe bet and just bet on Crystal Palace for the win. (Who would have thought that they would draw) Roll Eyes

In any way, I will learn from my mistake and next time go for the opposite or for a draw, if the odds are close. They emailed the refund yesterday and I already put it to good use on another more sure bet. Grin

Haven't we said all we needed to say about squid game? I mean, the whole world made all the jokes, the world basically said yes this is a good show let's make it a popular culture thing and from jokes to marketing to basically every single aspect of the world did a squid game thing and that is how we reached all of this right?
