I don't understand the recent push from stake for players to verify their details. Crypto betting is meant to be anonymous and I know the bonuses for regular players aren't being reduced but it feels odd to get a lesser bonus just because another player has completed his verification process.
I have a bad feeling about this. I don't really mind the KYC requirements for bonuses because its optional and completely upto the gambler whether he/she is willing to provide their details.

However, if they follow Roobet in the future by enforcing mandatory KYC to access the site itself, that would be a big blow to gamblers like me who are interested in anonymous gambling. I hope that I am wrong about this.
Yeah, I guess everyone is fine as long as the KYC is not mandatory but optional since stake offers so many promotions make me understand why they want to do it. Honestly, KYC helps reduce a lot of multi-accounting too so it will bring more bonuses to single users or let's say, legitimate players. I am sure there are lots of abusers who must be taking advantage of Eddie's weekend guarantee and promotions like that where stake is technically just giving out free money.

I love the NBA promotions stake does and hopefully they have something cool in mind for the upcoming NFL too. Wimbledon trebles is decent as I made the bet on 1st treble they had and it actually won, although it took 3 days for the Monfils game to end.

I don't understand why he linked my account there.

I have nothing in common with either of those users.
Well just baseless opinion, he said he "suspected" you are same person with multiple accounts with the other one. So how about your problem? Is it get resolved already?

He meant to tag adzzz and instead tagged me in his post Smiley

My problem is not solved because adkinsbet made an exit scam later and most of the users defending them are promoting 1xbit now.

Well, Eddie (co-owner of Stake.com) says in his Weekend Stream sessions that they will not enforce mandatory verification on their users, but they will reward the people that does that voluntarily.  They know that a large percentage of their gamblers are playing from countries that are banned and those people are adding to their profits, by increasing the wagering totals.

I will be very surprised if they change their stance on this, because a lot of those people just want to stay anonymous to protect themselves and they are playing from legal countries.  Wink

Yes, the possible way is to contact the support team. If you're on the VIP category with a separate VIP host, then you can contact that particular person on the provided telegram. In specific doing the KYC has got more benefits, when it comes to Stake than other gambling sites.

Cool. Is it only for legally accepted reasons like (Name changed due to _________ (e.g. marriage for women) or if you just want to change your name?

Im just bronze, a little less than halfway to silver.

Sorry if I am not following, but how are the 2 accounts connected?

@adzzzz is complaining about the 53,113 trx which he lost through some bets he feels he didn't place, while @AlzheimersSports got his account blocked with $200k in it.

I thought if they were connected, they should be complaining about the same issue.
It doesn't make any sense to me either. @adzzzz seems like he got screwed by a hacker and is asking Stake to fix the issue while @AlzheimersSports could be a scammer himself if Stake's investigation ends up with that verdict.

I don't think @adzzzz will be able to regain his funds at this point, but @AlzheimersSports still has hope currently in my opinion.

What if the same guy is using multiple accounts, abusing and cheating with creating multiple accounts?
One guy posted few days something similar and he is also using same coin for betting, he has similar writing style and I suspect those are multiple bitcointalk accounts:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/stake-frozen-my-account-181k-from-sports-betting-only-euroswimbledon-5347268
One more of his accounts could be this one:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/adzivu-1189468

Coin tracking and chain analytics are very easy this days Smiley

https://stake.com/settings/verify ----> Doesn't give me the option to edit. ( Can't see the edit button if there is ) . If I hover my cursor towards the textbox it shows an icon(which looks like the red sign I drew. ) that the box is not available to be edited.

That's strange because stake claimed in their announcement every time that players are allowed to edit the details at a later stage if required. My guess is that players are still allowed to change but because it shouldn't be a joke, they must contact support or their respective VIP managers, if they have one, to get the details edited. It might be because otherwise everyone would enter fake details initially and claim the extra bonus and the recent $10 they offered for level-1 verification.

Another world record set on Stake! Unbelievable $2.5M Fruit Party base game hit by none other than @ROSHTEINS!
https://twitter.com/ROSHTEINS/status/1412115867949748233
That's a massive win! He won 74.275 btc from a 0.014855 btc bet. The winning bet can be found at Stake in Fruit Party game big wins. Although the bet id isn't available there as the user is hidden. Noticed another tweet from Stake official twitter account, where Stake posted that a different user won $1 million two times recently. Those streamers are lucky enough. I have watched those video today, both streamer celebration was spectacular.

I like watching the videos/streams of Roshtein, but didn't saw this yet! Incredible win and that on the base game!

UFC264 Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor is coming this weekend and Stake is again coming with great Triple Winnings promotion on top of regular promotions they have for all UFC main and co-main events!
If any fighter wins the fight in first two rounds with KO/TKO we get TRIPLE WINNINGS on out selection, and I believe there is a good chance something like this happening.
Minimum Stake is $5 and Maximum Triple Winnings is $100.

https://promotions.stake.com/mcgregor-vs-poirier-3/

Nice promotion and will make use of it! Just doubting a little bit who to choose; for the moment I would go for Mcgregor...

I think that guy is really a crazy gambler Roll Eyes, Atlanta Hawks' win that day was very uncertain, their position was not so good during the entire conference final, no one thought the Hawks would win. Most of Milwaukee's ranked players were injured, while Lou Williams and Bogdannovic played great that day, both of whom together were able to add total 41 PTS to the team. However, the series was tied at 2-2. Crazy pick to put 120ltc for Hawks...
I think dude may have lost that money back already. I do not know who he is so maybe I am wrong but that dude basically bet on the loser of the series. If he wagered only on one game then he ended up winning and that is true, but if he ended up gambling on the other two games following this game, they were both Bucks, who knows maybe he wagered on bucks this time, that would mean he won some money. However if he wagered on Hawks again twice, then he ended up losing a good chunk of that win right back in this series.

We also have finals now, there is a good chance he could lose whatever is left and then some in the finals as well, who knows? That's all sportsbook is about, we are talking about something that is basically all around win and lose, you win some and you lose some and you hope that in the end you come out on top and not have a loss overall.

With that huge amount, definitely he can wager it back and luck did not permits him to win again maybe all those money are already inside the house bank deposit account. Grin Roll Eyes

But also, there's a possibilities that this gambler may quit and enjoy those money, or due to experienced he still playing with the money and continue enjoying all the perks Stakes is providing him.

The finals will surely  brings more money inside Stake, with those VIP's who loves betting with their sports book, expect to see more lucky winners.

I do not see a way to edit the information. o.O

Go to the account menu - settings - verify. There you can edit your information.

I should've been more specific.

If you have already set up your details before, I think you cannot edit it again. Don't know tbh as may be that is the problem here because I never set my details in the 'verify' area, so I can still edit those details and set them up. I think you can mail them on their official email address or ask them through support ticket, the procedure to change your details.

Wow so many rish guys on sports, tbh I don't see such huge bets on alternative bookies
Here in stake you will find many high rollers in multiple currency and there were times i used to follow some of these crazy high roles and i ended up loosing and the amount of bet they make are crazy huge and recently i followed someone who made a 1 BTC bet and it ended up loosing big for me as well  Cheesy. The biggest loss i saw in recent times is 80BTC with small odds in sports Cheesy.
I agree, the big boys hunt small odds less than 1.10 to increase the wager on their VIP level. If I remember correctly, the sportsbook wagers are in a 1:3 ratio, instead of betting on 1.01 dice they find value bets with high win chance and do a 3x wager. In the worst case, they lose the whole bankroll if the team or player loses the match with such low odds. I never follow high-roller tabs because it is tempting to follow the money flow Smiley

Stake is one of the biggest sportsbook in the space and I love seeing the high bets being displayed as it only tells how reputable the site is where people are confident with putting such a big bets. I think other sites also have huge bets but they just don't display, but maybe they can follow stake as it's an active promotion telling people how big they are and how reputable they are.

How to fill KYC level 3? The requirements are for proof of address and source of funds but there is no concrete information about list of documents.
Proof of address is actually some letter that contains your address and most exchange or casino accepted "Electric or Water" bills contains your address under your name of course. For source of fund, maybe you can use salary payment info from your office.

You can freely to ask on "Live Chat" they're open 24hours, so better result always ask to the support.
