I am not sure if people would be fine with that. And once again stake is a place for "whales" basically, obviously 0.5 bet minimum is not a whale size but it is not free neither, you may end up losing a ton of money while trying this out as well for some people. I for example gamble with 50$ per month, that is my thing and I do not gamble more, if I joined here and gambled this promotion there is a good chance I could lose all my monthly deposit in one sitting. Maybe I am just too poor, but once again stake doesn't want people like me and this was talked about a lot.
This is absolutely wrong, above promotion is just one of their promotions.
There are many other promotions where you can participate with lower minimum bet or even with zero bet.
It does not make senses at all to say that stake is a place for whales only just because of the VIP promotion.
You as a gambler is free to decide which promotion to participate, if you feel that VIP promotion is not suitable with your bankroll then simply choose the other promotion with lower min bet.
It is not Stake that does not want people like you, it is just your own feeling because you do not explore all available promotions.
I am sorry if this upsets you but that's the truth. You can go ahead and check other places and compare it to stake and you will see that other places have whales a lot less of their total gambler number chart whereas stake has a good amount of whales as their whole business. Think about it this way, if whales are 20% business of X casino, it is 50%+ of stake, that is just the truth. This started when stake got created and they got rid of all the small stuff like faucets and challenges and so forth, and other places picked it up, so they went to other places.
The first ever place I wagered was primedice which I used the faucet because I didn't know how the game worked, gambled for nearly a week with "free money" and then when I made it up a little enough to withdraw I realized it is fun and I deposited all my money (2 bitcoins but it was very small at the time) and I lost it, so they earned my money fair and square.
