This trend is very high that the winners do not share their experience with us. It is very encouraging for he others when they see people winning and this will also create wish and temptation in their mind to do more wagering, but unfortunately people hide their winning for many different reasons.

Hi all! Wanted to share my negative experience with Stake.
I have made two bets on today's Champions League game in Live (Valencia - Atalanta), the bets were made on 40th and 45th minute of the game (screenshot: https://ibb.co/x1rZLMN), total over 9.5 corners. At that point there were 5 total corners and the odds were above 2, the game was very active and opened so I decided it was a good choice.
The bets were accepted.
Around 70th minute I received a notification that the bets were refunded. Huh

According to the support, they put wrong odds (used the once from pre live), but:
1. it was already the end of the first half when Stake accepted the bets.
2. the bets were actually accepted, not paused or pending confirmation or something.
3. when they refunded the bets, the odds for over 9.5 corners were like 1.42 - so they waited for the game to go on, and when saw that the bet could win, cancelled it.
4. according to their own rules they can use a market average in the pay-out compared (the calculated winning bets with 1.0, probably that's their market average probably Grin

).

I offered them to recalculate my bets with the right odds for 40th and 45th minute, but they refused to do so.

Be careful, want to make it public so that clients are aware.

@panjul07 I’m definitely not going because I was unable to collect a single ticket, and I sincerely hope next time when such a raffle is announced I’ll be ready to participate in it. Also don’t give up who knows you may actually win something, and as far as the consolation prices are concerned we will have to wait and find out as there’s no announcement yet from Stake.

If you tell your customers to just "go ahead and gamble however you please" they will do that for a while but eventually they will be bored, so stake is putting up these races, these multis, basically all these promotions and competitions just so that people do not get bored and continue to have a reason to gamble.

When you do these kinds of stuff people do not gamble just for gambling's sake, they do not gamble just for money, they also gamble to win some bragging rights and some extra thing they will be winning. It doesn't matter if it is multi, sportsbook, dice, plinko or whatever.

I have won couple of multis myself as well but it wasn't during this period and it wasn't all that much neither. I played with ethereum and I wagered 0.005 ethereum to begin with so it was really low amount and the highest I have won was 7.28 odds so it didn't really turn out to be high in the end neither.
