Another crazy bet on the sports-book for 50 BTC ($355,000) on Liverpool to win the 1st half of their game  Shocked

That player just won the bet. He must of known sheffield wasnt going to do anything to liverpool in the first half to place such a wager like this.

I think it could be the largest bet in their sportsbook. But according to one of the moderators on chat there was a 52btc placed but they can not disclose who this player is. Just as this one they want to keep bettors privacy like this unknown to the public. Which is understandable in these times of scammers and con artists all over the place.
This is the biggest single bet currently on their site but I don't know if compared to other Sportsbooks because not everyone can see other people's bets. Stake is one of the Sportsbook that can display the bets of its players publicly. Of course it's useful for gamblers to get tips for free among Stake players.

51.247BTC was the largest single bet.

He won the same sized bet like this last time, I wish it was PR because he won 83btc last time if i remember correctly Cheesy .

so this is the same person as the last time?
but i just wondering how much the maximum bet that stake has? because right now i just try to make the same bet as his but the max bet i got just under 5 btc
AFAİK, the recent terms&conditions refer to 8 BTC limit for potential profit in single bet. You can read more on the forum of Stake.
But then how did they manage to bet 50btc on a single bet? Are they excluded if they have a diamond vip membership maybe? Or they just recently changed the terms and conditions after they placed this bet 5 hours ago? Huh

Profit limit was never 8BTC (at least for sports), and there's nothing in the terms and conditions that states a max profit. I'm guessing that user has highroller limits to be able to bet 50BTC, but it wouldn't surprise me if a new account was able to profit more than 8 BTC in certain markets/leagues.

💛 Vote in this week's Choose a Charity using this poll or the Stake forum poll 💛
@Stake & @Primedice will donate $1,000 to the charity with the most combined votes in 1 week! 😃

@TheWaterProject @watsi @UNICEF @coolearth

https://twitter.com/Stake/status/1212576308464472065

Forum poll: https://forum.stake.com/topic/30321-choose-a-charity-poll-18/
Will this be the same UNICEF fund that accepts crypto and actually does crypto related funding or charity works as well? I read somewhere recently that UNICEF made a fund specially consisting of all the crypto donations they get and will focus on making crypto charities with it as well (charities itself would be regular charities not crypto related but the funding would be pure crypto)?

If that is the case no wonder why UNICEF is leading now and I hope they end up winning, we need more adoption when it comes to crypto world and the more people that use crypto the better and charities doing crypto donations are one sure fire thing to show the white side of crypto (compared to all scams and hacks and so forth) which could bring in a lot of people to crypto world.

Meh, I'd be more inclined to trust this if the player's profile weren't hidden. I get why a regular player wouldn't want others to see their betting activity, but it seems too easy for someone inside Stake to just make a betslip like this for pr.

I mean, yeah ... that sounds fine, and I don't have any reason not to trust you, but this is a crypto-forum, and inherent trust isn't exactly  a feature of the technology we all love.

It's cool you want to promote a big betslip, but you have to recognize there's a trust gap due to how everything is. That's not to say Stake's the only book to have this issue, though. Any other book could technically be doing it as well.

Why should someone from the site do thing like this? Any good reasons? I have to say no, Stake will not need to do something like this if what you mean is to attract other gamblers.
It is normal to see players use hidden username especially if they bet big amount. It is for security purpose and to avoid beggars. Security means if he do not hide his username then there is a chance for scammer to try to hack his account.

many players were already doing this  .

i mean they also hid thier self and i know most of them but they arent related to stake whatsoever   . there are many rich gamblers and some of them are richer than stake so its normal if thier bets are insane   .  i dont worry on these kind of players but im more worried on the side of a gambling site because  i think that they could gone bankrupt if rich people will bet big and win at most times  . hopefully not  .

Can people own the casino on stake.com?

I do not really understand what do you mean by "own the casino on stake". Do you mean something like investing on stake's bankroll? Would be nice if you can elaborate your question in more understandable sentences. Or maybe I'm the one who cant understand your main idea, so lets see and wait if someone from Stake especially Symphonized or even Stunna understand your question.
I also don't understand what he means but in my opinion he might want a new casino game on Stake.

I believe he wants to know if stake.com is going the same route like earnbet.io for example where you can sort of own a part of the casino by holding their token and get dividends. But the answer is no, stake.com doesn't offer that.

I also think of the same.. but if OP will not clarify, we don't need to discuss it as we don't have the same interpretation to it.
For the question about investing in stake casino, AFAIK, they don't accept bankroll investment.
