Yes you are probably right where they are not allowed to say anything further about the release day since they are working out any issues with this side of the site. As I noticed yeterday the updates they pushed were having problems with some users using certain browsers including myself. Undecided

After the update it made all the link icons to the games disappear so couldnt go into any of the games so to play.
I suspect once it is released there will be an icon on the top left corner near the stake logo where there will be a new link to the sportsbook part of the site. There is a club symbol next to casino now which I didnt notice there before. Wink

I think they did not mean to ignore your concern in chat, but probably they just did not want to reveal it on chat too early or probably they have no ETA for sportsbook release because they want to give surprise for their active players who are waiting for this sportsbook. Lets be ready for it, and I'm sure there will be another big promotion for the launching like what they have done when they launched new games.

Have you never been to a casino? Most people's first game at a casino is usually slots. Its very easy. All you do is throw in a coin, pull down the lever and if money start pouring out of the bottom you obviously won, if not then its a loss. These days its usually more digital. Usually there is no physical lever but instead you just push a button. And you normally don't get 1000's of dollar coins pouring out of the slots machine but instead get a winners voucher. However the idea is the same.

There are odds in slots. But not in the same way as dice. In dice you pick the odds yourself. In slots the odds are based on the number of rows and columns pretty much. Some slot games have 3 columns, some have 4 and some might have more than 5. And each column has the same wheel which has a fixed number of different elements, say its 10 different elements. You can assume these are called rows.

To win the jackpot lets say you need to hit number 7 in a single spin. How do you calculate the odds? Easy. Basically there are 10 elements in total and the chance of hitting a 7 is 1/10. Now what is the chance of hitting it 3 times? Its simple math.

10%*10%*10%= 0.1% chance, so you would need about 1000 spins to hit the jackpot.

Few days back I got some other big payout as well like 120x, surely it is alll about luck but indeed there were many losing bets as well.

I don't get esports organizations giving out that much money.

If for example they gave out 30 million dollars in prize (that is what the article in variety that was shared says) and there was over 2 million (lets say 3 million, we know it is not more than 3, we know it is over 2) watched it then that means each and ever viewer made them 10 bucks on average for their existence. All the sponsors, all the income, everything in total must have made them over 30 million dollars to make it a viable business deal.

Now, considering that is not really that possible (and even if it was) maybe they just made it like a marketing thing, maybe they sold tickets, made people watch, got sponsors and all that just to get more and more gamers into their game. It is really not my style of guaranteed tournament and I am not sure if there are enough "gamer gambler" around to bet on esports but it is all depends on stake of course.
