Madrid was already down by two weren't they? I mean surely it could have been at least 2-1 loss for Madrid team but at the end of the day I am not entirely sure the game would change too much. PSG was playing much better and ended up winning 3-0 anyway, the only way you can hope for a comeback was if that goal was allowed and than Madrid scored again without allowing PSG to score but I feel like by the way teams played it was more like Bale vs PSG and it would have been really difficult to do anything about it.

Hence, I feel like the game ended the way teams deserved it to end, Bale showed how awesome he is, PSG showed how much better they are than Madrid. VAR is not decentralized or provably fair neither btw Cheesy I have seen even with VAR referees giving bad decisions.

@Symphonized VAR is the reason why Real Madrid failed to win their match against PSG, their confidence was shattered when the goal was disallowed. I felt the match would have ended in a different score line had the goal been allowed, but unluckily for Real Madrid it wasn’t and they ended up humiliating themselves. Also seeing your interest in sports is PD or Stake planning to start sports book in the near future?.
Even though the Bale goal is validated by the referee, Real Madrid will still lose. In the final result, Real Madrid did not make any goal though. I prefer that VAR is in every football game because it can prove that the game is still running fairly. Also, I'm interested in waiting for Stake and PD's plans to create a sportsbook on their site. Cheesy

I might find myself on the losing, minority side here but ....
as odd as it may sound , I prefer the good old football with referees making  mistakes
and what is the definition of fairly , since now VAR is the decision made by 3+ people who review the moments instead of just one
I hate when the game stops , hate when the referees authority is questioned every time something happens etc.
also now there is none to blame if your team loses , you would not blame your team , would you?
still waiting on the bookies from Stake , hope it is in "coming soon" status i.e. less than a year from now

They then continued to wager and had accumulated 249btc total wagered just in 25 minutes in the 2 hour race. So to put this into perspective second place was at 3btc. Embarrassed

Dang, that's insane!  Shocked
Yes. With just this one bet they got to platinum vip membership and somebody calculated their referral would of received 0.5btc in commission with just this bet alone. That is if they even had one.
Usually with these players who place one single huge bets like this do not continue using their accounts afterwards and view it as disposable and never use it ever again.
Here is the bet id the player bet during the race

I remember getting burnt badly a few years back on Primedice when I would take very high odds of winning bets just to get a higher wagered BTC so I could up my rank. I would do something such as 98% or so and I would bet like 1 BTC for the first 10 rolls or so and wait for a loss. And when I got a loss then I was safe for the next 98 rolls, or so I thought.

Basically it was going well and my rank was going up and what happened was that on 98%, I think I had 2 losses within 10 rolls of each other and it was an bad loss. Even with the wins, I was still down maybe 0.65 BTC or so. But at least I got my higher rank. Keep in mind this was when BTC was like $200 a coin. Now I would never risk that much.

So it seems very easy with these wagering contests because you think you can easily just make bets with low risk however eventually there will be that one roll which will be a loss. Similiar to martingaling.
I did the same thing with primedice as well, I literally spent about 2.2 bitcoins just to increase my status (back then you had levels and not VIP status, you could literally get 10k satoshi faucets if you were high level). After the last loss that I had I realized it doesn't worth it and that 10k was not something they just give to me so that I can spend, I had to win more of that to withdraw as well so spending 2+ bitcoin on that chance didn't really worth it. There was a lot of crying involved but I came out of it as a better person.

Now, I only gamble with amount I can lose, consider it like gaming or entertainment whatever cost and just carry on my day like that wasn't a loss but a money well spent for enjoyment. I sometimes give myself breaks as well so I don't get too addicted and see if I can go like a month without gambling.

What I would like to know is if he won more than he lost despite wagering literally millions of dollars(249 BTC = Around 2.5 million dollars roughly). Whale indeed.

I'd like to know this too. According to my estimations, it is very likely to lose 2.5 BTC while wagering 250 BTC on a site with 1% house edge. That's why I rarely take part in wagering contests, it's almost always obvious that you are going to lose more the prize you can potentially receive.

But then there are high rollers, who wager these amounts anyway, with or without any contest. For them the prize is a nice addition to their overall gambling experience.

The race today someone bet 10btc on one single dice bet and lost. But it didnt stop there. He was at 83btc total wagered during this race according to the leaderboard but everyone was wondering who this player was as they were hidden.
Craziness. Whale among the whales basically. Wagering a 10BTC bet and losing is itself insane, but wagering even after such a loss is something else entirely. This guy probably counts a single BTC as a dollar or something.
It wasn't for race for sure, I mean if it was for race dude would have played only a bit more than second and if the second increased we all know he has enough to bet more and always stay on top, he probably wanted to just wanted to play and that happened to hit the race time perfectly. It has happened before I think, I mean people do gamble a lot of money all the time, just recently someone bet 100 btc or something if I am not wrong, there are those crazy dudes who do stuff like that on stake plenty of time, just not as frequently as other small ones (obviously) and it could totally happen to hit the race date.

If it was all about race he would bet like 10 btc and leave, he would still be the top on the list and still get the rewards for it. Wish I had that kind of money so I could just have fun all day as well but I am sitting here betting 10-50 satoshi per bet Cheesy. It is still fun to me honestly and it is obviously in my budget as well.

This is certainly a record for stake during the races of total amount wagered in a span of 30 minutes.
Usually see at this point in the races total amount wagered by 1st place to be about 3-5btc. Undecided

There is always some people who try to complete these challenges, there are literally people like bounty hunters but they hunt these challenges, they are... challenge hunters? Lol, I don't know what they are called but in ANY challenge stake or primedice has ever put up, there has always been a ton of people who do it.

You are forgetting that this website has insane amount of gamblers, it has so many gambler that just 100 of them achieving is not even a big deal, people literally spend their time around here gambling because some people make more money than others since they live in first world countries and make a decent amount of salary so putting up 5k-10k a year on gambling means nothing to them, and if they won once upon a time then it is even better.

Is it just me or this new baccarat challenge in comparison to the previous challenges on here is by far not the easiest task. You have to win 9 bets in a row, with a minimum deposit of 0.1*10^7 BTC. Good luck to those who feel brave enough to contest in the challenge.

I completed that challenge.

At first sight i thought this challenge was very hard too. But after a few minutes of play i was able to get 9 wins in a row. Anyhow probably i was just very lucky.

Usually i don't play baccarat, so i can't really know how difficult is to get 9 wins in row.... It was quite easy for me this time.

One of the biggest bets we've seen yet!
Would you place a 10 BTC bet?
Tell me why or why not in the comments - the 3 best comments will win $$$!

@Symphonized I don’t think I would ever be able to play such a huge bet, even if I was able to accumulate 10 bitcoins. The gambler who played this bet must be having a heart of steel, because it takes lots of courage to play big bets like this.

Regarding the 10 BTC bet that resulted in a win, I would say that I might take a 10 BTC yolo type of bet depending on my overall net worth in crypto and in fiat in general.

The person who took the 10 BTC you don't know their story. They could of been an early BTC miner who possesses > 1000 BTC in his cold storage and betting 10 BTC is only 1% of his net crypto worth. He also might have another $10 million in fiat in his bank account. So for him losing $100K is not the end of the world.

However if this person took a loan for the 10 BTC and its all the savings he has and he bet it all on a single bet then indeed he is crazy and has some courage to take this risky bet. However most likely its the former. Look at the Bitmex liquidation twitter feed and you will see $10 million liquidations all the time which is probably a loss of > $100K if you measure it by a low leverage trading loss.

There are people out there with a 7-8 figure net worth and this is pocket change for them.

@adaseb I don’t think he would be foolish enough to take a loan for this bet, but I do agree with your other view that he may have extra funds and this bet amount was just a small part of his actual funds.

There are more than 100 replies for the baccarat challenge, means that it is not that hard to get the task.

those 100 or more people are maybe lucky to win 9 bets in a row faster than compare to any other users who commit the challenge    .

you cant just based on the number of replies because you never know what if those guys have a high bankroll than you ?

they can risk all thier entire balance just to complete the challenge and they dont care at all if they will win or loose but what important for them is that they can wagger alot so that they can reach the vip status in no time  .

What's the connection between those number with my bankroll which maybe lower than them?
I'm indeed rare to join the challenge as I prefer to gamble with my own style instead of focusing to complete challenges.
If the main idea is just to complete the challenges and many people risk too much money on it then I can say that they are not experienced challenge hunters. Experienced challenge hunters will focus on make profit from the challenge so they wont spend higher amount that the possible rewards. But if they have other purpose such as to reach VIP level then it is better than just completing the challenge. We do not know what is important for them, do we?
