Been looking at various provably fair implementations on sites here and came across something weird. Basically all sites have 256 char server seeds, but stake uses a much shorter one. Can anyone more knowledgeable comment on why the server seed on stake is shorter than any other site?  Isnt this a security risk?

Well, theoretically this should not necessarily be an issue, but its a somewhat weird decision not to err on the side of caution. I would agree that 128 byte seeds (=256 hexdec chars) should be the minimum.

Did you create the image on the topic long time ago? Look at the newest look or the game list of Stake http://prntscr.com/oz3jzr
You have just added it to your own forum site but it gives an old information of the site which is very unfortunate.
Also about the slogan "The high stakes casino", is it your own words? I have never heard anyone from stake saying such words before.

Yesterday I saw some people were talking about "boost", some people said that they have just claimed this boost. Tried to find some more info through the forum but I cant find official topic about this boost. I only heard that it is something like a reward for VIP users but I also heard that not all VIP users get this new feature. Is it just a random feature?

Sure it's profitable you just have to beat the house edge by profiting more than 1% Wink

Also we offer you way more than 1% from our giveaways and bonuses Cool
That is why people join in the promotions, they think they can turn the house edge to profit, if you calculate what the reward is and what odds of finishing the challenge is and calculate how much you should lose on average (of course you can lose more or you can end up winning) then it becomes positive for the gambler instead of a 1% house edge, however it is not always that easy to calculate that.

For example, what is the odds of hitting 500x ? On average, how much should you lose before you hit it? Let's assume the minimum is 0.000001, what are the odds of hitting 500x ? Is it one in a 500? If that is the case which I have no clue if it is by the way then you need to wager 0.0005 to hit it. Now, my math could be way off, maybe I am super wrong but will you profit or not depends on the participant count and all but looking at how many people wagered I am pretty sure it won't be profitable at the end of the day when prize pool is shared between everyone.

This is one of those bets that could happen very quickly or be impossible to hit. 500x is not a common winning and people who bet minimum 100 satoshi could go over 1 bitcoin without winning a single time or they could do like a few and still win. I think this one doesn't bring a positive house edge, I need to calculate the house edge of limbo and need to calculate possibility of hitting 500x and figure out how much it would cost on house edge plus possibility. Without that knowledge you can't really get to see if it is profitable to try this out or not.
The house edge on the limbo game is 1%. It's not profitable in the long run but as you've said there's possibilities where anyone could win it in seconds or hours or never during their session. It may seem uncommon to win on 500x but if you look at their thread a lot of users have won. Several months ago they have a dice challenge on telegram, the multiplier needed for the challenge was 9900x and it was cleared quickly.

At worst this is a fun way to test how lucky you are, maybe you won't win much but at least you would try to have fun and have a goal, otherwise you would be gambling normally without any goal other than making money but this way it gives a reason to gamble.

It is indeed true of what you said but to think that it is some game that can easily win them it wont be called challenge already. But because of this challenge many players try to win it as low as possible if they able to. This is just matter of luck, and btw ralle saying the house edge is 1% so it is pretty normal to some other game, especially dice game. So the best way is limiting your budget on this challenge if you can't afford to lose much here

Half a bitcoin win from just betting a few satoshis playing mines.

That is a pretty big win and this player hasnt even played too much with his total wagered amount of 0.43 in btc being below what they won. Smiley

This is indeed a really big winning 5 million multiplier which I have already tried it but nothing happened. But is this 5 million multiplier still available through this game? Last time I heard they already capped their limit to only 2million multiplier which is still hard. They even have this calculator on hoe to get max payout by using small amount of money

Seeing how the stake forum now has a topic about sportsbooks as well can we say that its very close now for stake/primedice team to have their own sportsbook? We know you guys have been working on it for a while now and we have been waiting for it for months now but the time is getting closer for the regular seasons to start, hell it started in some countries already, so it would be awesome to finally get it.

A stake/primedice team sportsbook would get at the top of crypto sportsbook list very quickly, it wouldn't be worried like all other new ones because we already know the team and you guys so we would flock to it very quickly. Was the topic to figure out which type of wager you guys will use or is it just to make a small talk? If its to find which one than I would say decimal is much more simpler to me.

jdagger probably have wagered a lot more than that too, is there like a method we can check these players pages without clicking them? I know checking the high rollers and then clicking on their name to see more details about these people but I don't know how I can check them without clicking, so I have to see their names and click to see right now, without clicking just writing on some search type of thing to see is not available as far as I know, maybe it has something to do with links?

Like maybe https://stake.com/user/jdagger type of situation? I know that link leads to nowhere probably but is there something like that available? There are tons of people I would love to follow like social media style but I can't because I don't know how I could do it.

Nice winning amount and I never try to play just like the amount of bitcoin. He lucky because he win but for sure if he lose he will cry because that is very huge amount of bitcoin. But because he have a lot of bitcoins so that's why he can able to play what ever amount he want and Im curious how much is his biggest amount of winning and biggest amount of lossing for sure it is very big money also.

Yes and that's why you need to stop as soon you see you will most likely bust.
Or just calculate your odds and you will end up fine by using different strategies.
