Stake has been getting the challenges and promotions or whatever you want to call "spend x amount of time or money and get y amount of money from us" type of stuff in generally a lot more frequently recently, it all started with races that got more and more frequent and now, I think there is no time when there is no race, one ends and another starts right away, after that all the other stuff with forums and telegrams and discords, god knows what else, stake basically keeps giving away money to everyone, everywhere all the time.
Yet, all of them are super small amounts that makes no sense at all, lets hope it will dial back down to less giveaways but bigger amounts. It is obvious that they can't make bigger amounts this way because they are already giving away a lot combined because they have a million tiny ones all the time.

Probably they have increased the number of races, i'm not sure because i don't follow races anymore since when i busted all my funds trying to win a prize in a race. Surely they have reduced the number of challenges from two a week to one a week. This is a fact. You can verify it simply watching at the challenges section of stake forum.
I don't know why they did this way, but it's just marketing. Probably they have evaluate that races are better than challenges for their balance.

You are right, but I do hope that Stake give something bigger for the guaranteed rewards because billionth bet is something big to celebrate. So lets say the guaranteed prize is based on the user's level, but of course there should be a minimum bet for it. I believe most players wont still hunt for it although there is a minimum bet as long as the reward is worth to hunt. It is just unfortunate that a celebration of billionth bet won by player but the amount is just so small while they are offering daily races, weekly challenge, daily telegram challenge, as well as other coupons. I hope to see different type of giveaway for the next billionth bet.
That's what I mean, I call the VIP rank as user level because it is the most used words in this gambling industry. So they are planning to launch the slot game and a sports book which is great, i have seen complaints about lag while playing and hopefully they will sort all the issues before launching everything, i am waiting for a sportsbook from the team for sometime and all the sports fans are happy to see that the team is launching one in the coming months, if there is any specific date for the release, that would be awesome.
