This is what you need to avoid in gambling, dont be use big win as motivation to start gambling. Start when you are ready to gamble only. Indeed huge wins are attractive and may make most people want to get the same but we should be realistic.
Regarding the withdrawal fees of bitcoin, it is only 5000 satoshi which is the lowest fee in the industry IMO. How much you want as the bitcoin withdrawal fee if 5000 satoshi is needed to be lowered?
Big win in gambling, big profits in investments will make people mad, that in turn leads them to wrong decisions and losses later. Hence, it is so important to set own rules when we play games, do investments or whatever in financial markets. Setting minimum and maximum amount of money for each bets or investment is one of good preventive protection for loss reduction, especially in gambling.

You do have a point there. Basically this is what drives greed pretty much one way or another.

Lets say you start gambling and win $5 and tell all your friends that you won $5 gambling, most will shrug it off and not care. However lets say you start gambling and win $100,000 and tell your friends. Most of them will get jealous and will start gambling because they think "I am much smarter than him, I can make $100,000 also" and they will end up most likely going broke.

This is no different than that "Keeping up with the Jonses" situation, if your neighbour buys an old 20 year old Toyota Corolla, you most likely won't care. However if he pulls up in a new Ferrari then you will start to get jealous and want to a Ferrari of your own.

Greed and Jealousy are very powerful emotions.

I guess if someone bet 200 bitcoins and won 1000 bitcoins maybe I would check (I really don't know what the max allowed win in stake since I never really had that much money to test it Cheesy.) but in reality this is just 6 bitcoins and considering how big stake and primedice is just a 6 bitcoin bet is nothing major for them, I remember seeing people betting 20+ bitcoins over and over again repeatedly multiple times in the past, you may think the price was lower back than but they existed during even the 20k price point times as well.

If you want to be suspicious about a win I can understand, that is healthy and in crypto world you should be suspicious to everything but at this point stake is in no position to lie about 6 bitcoin bet, that is something quite ordinary for stake to be honest with you.

Looks like voting for which new coin to be introduced on the site has been completed.
Received a message this morning to which ripple (xrp) will be introduced on to the site in the coming days.
So this is some great news for stake in offering more options to their players in the form of accepting this alt coin used in betting on the site. Smiley

Look at the previous thread there was some of people already won big and there is no reason for them given fake picture and bet 6 btc to won 6 btc so that's player was extremely lucky because payout 2x or 50% chance to win became so hard although we bets for small money sometimes we were lost bet on that payout however meme contest looks so interesting and i saw some of users already post good meme at there

All bets before maintenance will no longer provide visual proof =/
I was about to show him how real it was but gives some error.
Devs are trying to fix most of the unsolved issues after maintenance at the moment.
But there's no reason to think bets are not true Smiley

Is it possible to somehow see or check that the bet was really done? What is I don't believe that Dice bet Nr. 6,544,216,094 was really made of 6 BTC and this now a photoshop ?  Grin
Did you already check it on stake's box chat about that bet? I see no reason for them to fake the pic by photoshop or whatever.

If you do not believe it, then you can go to their site and check for this by yourself. I do not find any reason why they should cheat on giving this number to you. First of all, they are already having such big name here. And second thing, they are being manage by the most popular site which is primedice. I do not think they want to ruin that reputation. Like panjul said, it is not something big if you stay here and keep watching on their game. They will be tons of huge players coming to get more money just because of this bitcoin peak

As stated before there is no reason to suspect of such fake bets.
We at both Primedice and Stake have legitm bets and verifications if you need to verify those.
Just check the bet id as previously mentioned and you will see everyone is legitm.

Not that everyone can afford to race and not everyone who doesn't have the funds should attempt it. But, for people who do attempt it this becomes very good for dropping the house edge as well and nobody talks about that part of it.

If you have nowhere near the amount to race please do not try to chase it and lose money you can't afford, gambling is for fun and not for devastation, yet if you have the funds for it then these races makes sure even if you lose money a bit with the winnings from the promotions you can either break even or lose less and even maybe win more! That part of it makes this challenge so much more entertaining, if you bet on high odds to make sure your wagered number is high there is a chance you may lose but there is also a chance you may end up with a ton of money as well.

I wonder what makes you to not believe on that 6 btc bet, is it the first time you see such a big bet? I don't even think it is too big because there are many others bigger bets that you may find in Stake or maybe in other bitcoin gambling sites. If you want to check the bet, just like what rdbase said that you can do it by typing the bet ID on chat then you can see the full details of the bet. There are also some 3rd party verifier where you can check any bets made at Stake.

Yes you can just type in the bet game and the # bet id into the chat and it should bring up the bet you called up in a pop up window in the middle of the screen.
This is how I show my bets to the chat and make it public for everyone to see when I hit a big bet. Smiley
I don't think there are people who edit a bet just to find popularity there. This bet is a big one at the moment, but before that there was a bigger one. No need to be surprised or suspicious if there are people who dare to do that.

Wow! How many bets did this person take in total? Did he just do 1 large bet and got lucky and took his winnings and withdrew?

Its actually really crazy looking at this photo and seeing 6 BTC and right below it almost $60K because BTC is back again over $10K per coin. So I am surprised that there are people out there still betting  > 1 BTC and especially 6 BTC which is very rare these days.

If he maybe bet 6 BTC but his win rate was 90% instead of 50/50, then it wouldn't be so risky. But betting almost $60K on a single roll is pretty ballsy. You can get a new BMW or Mercedes for that amount.

Those are such awesome wins and everyone could achieve the same profits.
Be lucky but experient, never become too much greedy and you can leave out with most of your profits.

How much have you got from our rains so far?
Only around 0.0001btc per race which is not much but it does cover the withdrawal fees once you have enough to take off the site once you met the minimum requirement. Wink

Yes that's the spirit Cool
Or you could also do some high payout gambling and see how your luck would be Wink
