For me, offering free money to register as our referral is effective to get number of referrals only but it wont be effective to get referral commission or to get real gamblers as referral.
I myself tried to get referral on some casinos by offering bonuses for signup. It was effective and giving positive results a few years ago. I had gotten some real gamblers as referral on a different casino by using this method, unfortunately they have closed their business. But I haven't gotten the success with this method on Stake. I got only 1 referral who place bets with deposits at Stake occasionally. A few other users only placed some bets with the tips which I send them for creating an account through my affiliate link, then they never made any deposits.

Never offer signup bonusses for referrals, because they just signup with a throwaway account to claim the money and then they go inactive.

I tried this before with other websites and it cost me more in paid bonusses than what I gained through their referral commision.  Roll Eyes

It might work better with brand new casinos, but with casinos that has been around for years, it never works.

To be honest.

For (Stake) unless you are a streamer + with unique code link promotion, you will success. Without the contract/deal from (stake) is hard because the stake is a typical casino who are not really offering some freebies for the public.

So, basically too gain some attractive at least you need some deal with them to created a unique promotion with your own link like free 25$ with reload something like that.
The problem is that it is not easy to get such a deal imo, because maybe there is at least a requirement from Stake for affiliate to get the deal. I've heard/read such offer (reload bonus) on registration by using referral link on review sites, so maybe Stake will ask where we will spread our referral link. If we have review site with good traffic, maybe we can get such a deal or maybe if we have a social media accounts with decent number of followers, we will also get the chance to get the deal.

This is the cons of having a multiple account issue in an online casino. You can’t prove that you really don’t even if you submit ID or other form of KYC when they have proof of connection such as same IP address. The funny part is they ask for the documents then later on doesn’t believe that you are using fake ID of someone to undergo KYC for you.

It’s very hard to solve issue about multiple account and I never saw an issue related to this that resolved properly because casino will just sent the proof on AG then leave the conversation and ignore everything since they think that they do already their part. Sadly no one can verify this here if you are telling the truth or not. But one thing is for that as long as many players is still satisfied with Stake services, I doubt your will gonna be a big deal to everyone.
Multiple accounts has absolutely no upside at all, it's just a wrong move and should not be done, there is really no way around it, it is simply not what you should be doing at all. I understand that it may feel like it is actually a decent idea, but it is really not and should not be all that important at all. I personally believe that the best thing to do in this case would be looking for a way out, and unfortunately that is not going to be that easy. If you had it even once, then after many years then it can be unearthed.

So, if you ever used more than one account at any casino, just withdraw your money and go find another casino and have only one account there, even if you drop back to one account, it may cause you trouble at the same place.

What is the benefit of having them as your referral if they withdraw the funds instantly after receiving the tip? The new users are required to fill the level 1 KYC information to enable the withdrawal on Stake. Although I could be wrong here, but Stake team may apply higher level KYC requirements on your referral if most of them just withdraw the funds after receiving the tip.
This is quite normal when someone try to give small bonus for anyone who is willing to register through a referral link. Free money hunters may try to abuse it by register as referral then they will withdraw once they receive the tip as promised. Of course it will be depending on the amount of the bonus, but free money hunters may do it even if the amount is small and even if they need to do higher level KYC process. For me, offering free money to register as our referral is effective to get number of referrals only but it wont be effective to get referral commission or to get real gamblers as referral.

I don't believe on giving free money for signing up since it cannot attract the real gambler but rather they will just get those free money abusers. But if he could able to give a cash back like for example his referrals will deposit some amount and he give 20% back base on the amount they deposit, then for sure this maybe this one can attract real gamblers since they would think that they can get something from them if they deposit then register under his link. Also for sure those people will sign up under his link would not avoid those KYC process and continue to gamble since they like the casino and what he offers to them.
You are right and I completely agree with you, even in our contemporary society today, anything free will always attract abusers, and same also it is online as well, and most especially in crypto currency and gambling as well, for example, a project that comes on and give people free tokens for doing absolutely nothing, such project will hardly succeed because this who got the free tokens will keep dumping it and will leave and totally forget that project as soon as they finish dumping their bags and have nothing else to sell.

In gambling as well, if a person is promoting his or her referral link and promises to send free money to who ever signs up on the casino using the link, such person will sure find a lot of referrals who he will spend money on, but that money, he can never make it back through the referral bonus of the casino, almost all those who signed up will never make a single deposit, they are just going to play with the free money, if they win, they withdraw it and may never come back, if they lose they leave and will never come back..

So, the best strategy is that which you have said or suggested, which is, get those signing up under ones link to make a deposit first, then depending on how much they deposited, the promoter can give them a certain percentage back as a bonus, this is more effective in attracting serous gamblers.

Does anyone knew if tip on Stake needs to be wager or it can be directly withdrawn once the user receives it? I’m still new to Stake and I’m planning to launch a mini activity on my local group on social media for my recruit. I want to reward them in a form of tip so that they have a choice to withdraw or play and at the same time create an account to Stake.
Usually, there is no wagering requirement on the tip amount. But Stake may block the withdrawal of the tip receiver if you just make a deposit and tip someone else without placing any bets, and then the user tries to withdraw it without placing any bets. They shouldn't face any problem to withdraw the tip instantly if you send it after playing with your deposited funds. Stake has 1× wagering requirement on the deposits.

Thanks for this information, Late to see this but very helpful. I’m planning to play my balance first since my goal is to increase my bankroll to a certain amount then rewards my followers using winning amount once the goal achieved.

I’m just curious how Stake view this activity since most my follower sign up using my affiliate code. I’m wondering if this tip might cause conflict in the future since most the receiver will probably withdraw immediately the tip amount once I sent it.

If you are curious to know what's their view towards certain activities you plan to do then much better if you contact them and try to ask if its fine to do your plans and what is the possible consequences if a user you invite just there for the tip and withdraw the funds immediately. For sure by asking the support you will not speculate more about the consequences and you will get the most accurate answer base on the question you want to ask. But its useless action if your referrals will just sign up just to get the tip and don't have plan to play on stake.

personally i would be very careful. stake will probably view this activity as suspicious and put you through an impossible withdrawal process in order to retrieve your own funds. i have heard from many sources that they do this a lot.

i believe they will view this as “multi accounting” which has very severe penalties.

Still have some potential on Monday/Tuesday but the chances are pretty low for this date, due middle of the month is almost the closest for the monthly bonus around (15th).
Don't expect the pre-monthly and post-monthly on every month of the year. It is an additional bonus which may come as surprise occasionally, Eddie has increased our expectations for those bonuses by giving it consecutively in the last few months. Perhaps, we will receive the monthly bonus on the next week (Friday, 15th March).

If you are worrying that it will cause a problem later when most of your referrals are withdrawing your tip straight away after they received it, I think you should try to avoid it.
Avoiding them to withdraw it immediately by give them small amount only and choose the coins with the most expensive withdrawal fee so they will think that it does not worth to withdraw it.
Other option is that if you can collect them in something like telegram group, you can offer them internal contest where they need to play but of course you need to spend more money for the prize. I have done this option at other site long time ago.

i’m just discussing the unfair operations of stake. isn’t that what this thread is for ?

their customer service and team is very unprofessional.

this thread and website are not advertisements for stake. i’m just communicating with fellow members of the community.

Stake is managed by 2 RuneScape players and a chat moderator, that is why their customer service and team is very unprofessional!

Their alleged "Legal Department" does not tell me who their lawyer is!

I discovered that their in-house Black Jack system is provably rigged, but they ignore!

Proof: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.63734669

Most people here need to place their post to get some cents, so you hardly can have substantial communications here!

For example, I asked the community:

If you are Bijan and Edward, would you compensate the 30,000 USD I unjustifiably lost at their provably rigged in-house Black Jack system and move on or would you ignore me and risk that you will be held liable one day?

I mean, they generated a 2,6 billion USD Gross Gaming Revenue in 2022, why risk their multi billion USD profit operation for not compensating 30,000 USD they have unjustifiably taken from me?

Is this a good business decision or not, in your opinion?

And not one substantial answer, even though this is a very important theme!

for what it’s worth, i was accused of multi accounting and not money laundering. simply a false accusation. thanks for all of the support guys it means a lot to me throughout this situation , but in order to stay on topic and not get in trouble in this thread, i’m going to talk about their horrible customer service!

it’s crazy how incompetent the employees of stake are. it’s like they’re unfamiliar with their own terms of service and they’re extremely rude and condescending at points. the lack of communication between employees is especially poor. they should spend more money on paying competent employees instead of paying forum users to advertise their site in their avatars and signatures. i’m sure it works for them for now, but all good things eventually come to an end.

What do u expect, when you need to verify all the data from various country. Also, the department support with verification is different they can't do both that's why is really take a long to solve these case. Meanwhile the (shit-happens) is when the person/user don't have any utility bill under his name and he share these on his thread. These is what I called shite happend, while you get verification and you can provided some document they're ask.

Actually, any site accepts a lot of documents for proof of residency. Normally accepted documents are like bank statements, phone bills and so on. Persisting on a utility bill and even wanting to see a payment slip of that bill (which I have NEVER heard before) is just ridiculous.

And by the way, this is from the stake help site:

Quote
Please note that the compliance team reserves the rights to request any document they might need.

You can use one of the following documents to verify your address:

Utility bill ( electricity, water, gas or rent bill )

Bank or credit card statement (in some cases bank statement cannot be used)

Council tax, municipality bill or government tax letter

An official letter from your employer or educational institution confirming your address stamped and signed

    Tenancy agreement

Bank reference letter - A bank reference letter should be just an informative letter with some of your and bank information. This letter should be in English and must meet the following requirements:

        Shows full contact of bank

Shows your full name and address

Shows date of account issuing and type of account

Shows date of issuing of the letter

Why even offer all the other options just to reject them and insist on the one option he can't provide. If they would do this to me I would have the same problem because our house is rented by the company my wife is working for.

Still insisting even though he explained it several times and provided all the other options which they mention on their site is just ridiculous.
Stating "Please note that the compliance team reserves the rights to request any document they might need." just opens to door to do whatever they want, which is shady.
