Hey guys,

You probably know that stake.com is not available to play in the United States. Some people advise using a VPN for this, but this is risky, especially when it comes to withdrawing your winnings.
on my own location is  also restricted Stake.com and i didn’t able to use stake.com without using VPN. I am using stake site with VPN for last 1 year but still not facing any problem.  And I withdraw every week payment from signature campaign using VPN from stake.com and I am able to receive my withdrawal  bitcoins very fast.  So I still don't think using VPN is much risky on stake.com.  But I would not recommend you to deposit any large amount using VPN

This is something that I had not been able to share in my opinion, and I am especially happy for a friend who studied with me, well actually he is my friend with whom I did my thesis for which we both graduated in engineering, he asked me what I wanted to play in a casino, obviously I told him about stake for that moment, and he told me that it would not open it, that's where I deduced that maybe they did not have the necessary permissions, now with stake.us I will let him know so that he can enter and enjoy, I also recommended a couple of other casinos, like bitcasino.io, among others, but with this stake, it's something phenomenal, I'm sure people will be playing and playing more and more, it's a great achievement, and I'm glad be a part of stake.com.

Can you please explain to us ...What type of prizes can be won with the Gold coins that can be exchanged for prizes? I cannot access the site from my location, but I am very curious to know what kind of prizes are on offer for the sweepstakes.  Huh
Gold coins are not convertible to real rewards but they are only being used as a play money. It was the stake cash is the one that you need to use if you want to redeem a prize. You can't access the site maybe because you are not from the U.S but if you are curious if what the site looks like or what are the games being offered there, and others then you can always use a VPN but you gotta make sure that you set your country's VPN to U.S. As for the type of prizes, they have cryptos, gift cards, and merchandise.

I wonder if Eddie and his team are doing this to try and get "legal" status for Stake.com in the US? In any way... it was a genius move to bypass technicalities in the laws to still offer "gambling" in the form of sweepstakes.  Grin Grin Grin
I don't think stake.com will ever be approved in the U.S, that is why they only came up with this alternative but this is better than nothing. Stake can still get some commissions with it.

So it is dubious that [.US] version is intended for US citizens only. Perhaps they are the same functions like promos, prizes and etc, the different thing is the domain name. They want to become the largest online gambling company and not in the US as long as there is a legalization process.
They do find ways to let US citizens gamble in stake since people from USA can't play on stake.com that's why they created an alternative stake which is for that goal although as you guys have experienced that there are some part of US that are restricted to play. I would also be interested to see what promotions or other things that we can see or check the site though I am not a us citizen to start with.

Quality review.  As someone in the US I'm very glad that Stake is bringing this sort of thing to the mainstream.  I can't say I'm a fan of the gold coins implementation, but I understand the legality issues and why they have to do it this way.  I'm sure this will help onboard some people into crypto.  Stake is growing so fast, it's crazy to witness.

If playing at Stake.us sounds interesting to you, you can check our detailed review: https://thecryptobonus.com/stake-us-sweepstakes/
^ I did not know that there is a US version of stake which is now the US gamblers did not worry about using a VPN because they can access stake without that VPN. The same on the exchange Binance.us, it is only for US users, but for sure due to that country being very strict, possibly the KYC verification also being very heavy on this, we know how the US was very strict when it comes to this kind of business. However, this is good news to gamblers that come from the US.

This is a nice move but I don't fully understand what Op said that you play for fun without winnings and bonus that is withdrawable. Is this an affliation of Stake.com com? I am just being curious, but my location is fine with stake.
This also looks like an Ann thread and not a review thread.

Hey guys,

You probably know that stake.com is not available to play in the United States. Some people advise using a VPN for this, but this is risky, especially when it comes to withdrawing your winnings.

The legal option is to play in Stake.us social casino. It is a sweepstakes casino, meaning that instead of directly depositing funds into your account, you purchase the so called Gold Coins. They can be used to play for fun in the social casino and cannot give you real winnings. However, for the purchased Gold Coins, you receive Stake Cash as a bonus. When you play with it, you play for real money rewards, which you can redeem.

Cheers,

I would recommend against using VPNs as if you get caught, you might get your money frozen and account banned. I would take the terms and conditions seriously and not try to outsmart the casino. I have personally not heard of anyone who got caught using a VPN but I am sure that there are tell-tale signs that an account is using a VPN. For example, they have a new IP from a different country every time they log into their Stake account.

Better safe than sorry. Especially if they can just take your money.

Decent option, but the identity verification aspect negates most pros associated with it. They should get rid of that rule if they wish to attract more gamblers.

Yes, you need to pass identity verification to be able to redeem your winnings. This is stated in the How to Redeem Stake Cash section in the referred casino review.
What exactly is the point in investing in this site if identity verification is mandatory when we could simply invest in popular FIAT sites since crypto gambling sites focus on anonymity primarily?

On the official Twitter stake.com there is a mention that the .com site is not available in the USA and the official twitter accounts are listed as @stakeusa(https://stake.us) and @stakeuk so these are legal online casinos, although the @stakeuk twitter account has not been active for almost a year

Not all VPNs are risky, which is risky if you use the free ones, but there are safe/paid VPNs you can use, like wifi.

Stake.com vs. Different versions of Stake.us, different sites of course reviews can be expressed based on user experience, we know here Stake.com has many fans and is well known in this forum, looks like you have to work hard to win the hearts and trust of the people here to Stake.us.

Maybe I should stop for a moment to review and use the new sites that appear in this forum, before they can really be trusted or fair to their users, I see lately a lot of new sports betting sites that have problems with their users, surely if the established members here have some real experience with the Stake.us site, why not.

Hello @notblox1,

Yes, you need to pass identity verification to be able to redeem your winnings. This is stated in the How to Redeem Stake Cash section in the referred casino review.

Unfortunately, few states still restrict sweepstakes casinos.

As to your suggestion, I think you have a point. We will say that it is the legal way instead of risk-free.

Some US states like Washington, New York, Idaho and Nevada are still restricted Sad
Would I have to pass any KYC verification with this method because I can't find any information about that on link you posted?
I don't trust anyone that is saying it's risk-free so maybe you should rename this to lower risk than using vpn services.

Stake.com does the 50k weekly raffle, but they also include a 10k raffle for Stake.us. If you are from the USA it is worth it to get in this raffle as the amount of entrants is super small compared to stake.com.

Be nice!
Probably people saw this thread[1] made by Stunna, and seems like you are not affiliated to them. And by the looks of the title thread it sounds like an ANN thread which is not, this will bring confusion to readers. So this thread should be moved to gambling discussion and change the topic to something like a review from your site or something.

One of the reasons is the gambling board has a rule of one site one thread only. Once the official Stake.US ANN thread made this thread will be moved to trashcan.

It may have been confusing as the title may pertain to be the ANN thread for Stake.us especially that there is no official ANN thread created by Stunna or any team from stake about this.

However, I don't think that this thread should be deleted or moved to Archive as it seems like the thread's main purpose is to inform and review the platform. I think OP should rather change the title instead to avoid confusion especially once the official thread will be posted.

This is great information to further inform more gamblers that live in the USA that wanted to gamble on Stake. I personally tried to visit the website at Stake.us however I was redirected to visit the original website at Stake.com since I am not from the USA. I was not able to do anything on Stake.us but it seems like there are a lot of users based on the number of online users.

It's best to use Stake.us for those who live at the USA and avoid using VPN as it will void the TOS of the platform and may cause issues in the long run.
