Thanks for explaining where the word Russia came from. Nowadays it means other things... at least in part, right?
As far as Russian medicine degradation goes, except where they agreed with the world Covid propaganda, they are way ahead of Western medicine. So, be smart, and stick with Russian medicine.
I hope you as an honest man will not deny that the name "Russia" was invented by Peter the First at the end of 1721. On the official version Moscovia/Tartaria, (see historical documents) named Russia "in honor" of the Greek spelling of the word "Rus" - so in the Byzantine Empire since X century transferred the name of the state of Rus. Sometimes Rus is called Kievan Rus, but it is tautalogy as any other Russia did not exist. Rus is the state, which is the basis of today's Ukraine, and included Kiev, Novgorod, Chernigov, Pereyaslavl, Polotsk, Turov, Vladimir-Volynsky, Smolensk, Pskov, Novgorod-Siversky, Peremyshl, Terebovl, Halych, Rostov, Suzdal, Vladimir-on-Klyazma, Murom, Ryazan, Yaroslavl and other cities. As you have noticed - many of them have Slavic names, while the ancient cities of Muscovy have Turkic names.
About medicine in Russia - thank you, it made me laugh out loud
With the best medicine - all medical equipment is imported, 95% of raw materials for pharmaceuticals are imported, and all elites go to the West for treatment - how can you not believe it
Thanks for the positivity !
Outside of what you said here, I don't have any idea who coined the word "Russia," or why. The point is, what Russia is now doesn't have anything much to do with ancient history. Make up a word to call the land and people that we call Russia. Make up a hundred such words. Russia is still what it is, having nothing to do with what words you might call it.
Something like 600,000 people die in hospitals each year. Regarding standard US medical practice for cancer, heart disease and diabetes alone, there are about 2 million deaths annually. If people stayed away from doctors and hospitals in the US, they would at least have a chance to get well.
Russian medicine isn't like that, partially because the Russian people can't afford it. So, they live, even if it is simply an accident.
More and more doctors in the US, if they are sincerely wanting to do the best for their patients, are taking intensive courses in naturopathic medicine. Then they use natural substances and homeopathy to cure way more patients that standard medicine could ever think of curing. This success is taking medicine out of being a practice - these doctors aren't just practicing on their patients - they are healing.
So much for US medical murder.
