It`s what we have been waiting for, all of them to join crypto. Most of us see this coming, big companies making their own coins, it`s was logical step for them, they have money, they have big teams. This will be good for entire crypto industry, people will hear about crypto, people will start to use crypto.
What concerns me will people be able to recognize true power of decentralized crypto currencies, will people dump their fb and microsoft tokens for bitcoin or litecoin?
Someone should make a pool about investing in facebook, microsoft and amazon coins, how many people from here thinks about doing that?

in my opinion, with a lot of major companies going into the crypto business, the development of crypto is very promising. Yes, let's say Facebook will release its LIBRA coin. by looking at the development of LIBRA, more and more companies will also follow the steps of Facebook.
Of course that will have a very good impact on the growth of the crypto industry because with continued and ongoing adoption it is very likely that in the future more large companies will follow the steps made so far and that also makes the cryptocurrency more legal and we don't some know that in the future maybe the government will make something very good because indeed this growth must have a very good effect too.

Rather than the adoption and acceptance within their services, Facebook coming up with its own cryptocurrency is a big thing. When Facebook has officially revealed information regarding the cryptocurrency and its features we can see more large scale firms from now on getting into development or tokenizing their services.

Starbucks, Microsoft and other firms have been accepting bitcoin, but what the circulation happens through the same is very low, we need the market to get widen and for the same there needs to be good awareness about cryptocurrency and its necessity in the present world. This is done by Facebook and hope the falling year will be a very big year for almost every cryptocurrency including libra.

The only issue I have with this so called adoption is that is not a direct Bitcoin-to-Bitcoin transaction though. They still have someone in between like Bitcoin Payment Processor, like Bitpay or and Flexa as in the case of Starbucks. So we are still a far cry from the so called global adoption, we wanted we see is those big companies accepting Bitcoin directly, in my opinion.
Btw yeah, a lot of people want to see bitcoin on amazon, ebay and more but how will it affect price? I'm really interested in opinions about that because these websites are giants in their own niche which means number of bitcoin transactions will skyrocket if they accept bitcoin + they'll have a lot of bitcoins after all. So don't know whether it will be good news or not but I think no again.
On another hand, most of them which you stated OP, are going to integrate blockchain technologies and it's far from crypto adoption. Blockchain technologies are amazing on it's own and not only amazon but walmart plans to integrate it in some services. Interest is huge around blockchain but not around cryptocurrencies.

No they wont on my own view since they do know the volatility characteristic of bitcoin. They do make use of payment processor at least.
It might not be directly but its still good to see that they are using things which are related into it.

Adoption still exist with that, even is just slow but we are still moving and growing, total confirmed Bitcoin transactions still increasing and that is one of the results of adoption on just Bitcoin, how about to other cryptocurrencies? it's still growing.

We are going on that or something like that, it just like what happened before with Steam especially around 2017 bull run, when they started to accept bitcoin with Bitpay (AFAIK) to purchase steam wallet, after a few months they suspended accepting Bitcoin, so there's a reason behind that, maybe the transaction fees are too high and the volatility, etc.

Like how centralised mode of transaction have payment API. Even on crypto industry also these business giant looks for any payment processor API. For that only these bitpay, coingate and other gateway operators being used.
I am not sure why they are not accepting Bitcoin directly to their director address.is there any business difficulties to receive such funds?

Except Amazon, they are not accepting cryptocurrency and they are not making use of the Blockchain. I don't think they are going to be involved in it anytime soon, though there are rumors about them accepting Fb Libra. It's just a rumor and no one has proof to whether it is true or not. Once they start to accept it they are going to mention it to their customers and let them know that they are accepting cryptocurrency. Other ones you have mentioned have jumped on it already. Microsoft was the first to making use of the Blockchain technology on several of their sites and even launched a project as well.

This is much likely expected since they have the very idea that bitcoin or blockchain can compete with what the current economy stands up to now. It is up to the company on how they would use or implement it on their current business as some issues would occur which is a norms when starting a new system.

I don't see any crypto adoption here, you're just confusing things. Blokchain != crypto. I can't understand why people are confusing these totally different things so often. It would be correct to say that these companies just starting to use blockchain technology.
Facebook already showed their "support" to crypto by banning all crypto related adds. And I'm sceptical about their coin and I doubt that it will be close to the real crypto. As I know, it will be stablecoin pegged to fiat currency, probably USD.
Microsoft already did meaningful thing in crypto adoption by accepting Bitcoin payments. They had stopped it for a while, but now they're accepting it again.
And fact that some big companies are starting to use blockchain technology is pretty much meaningless. Banks are also interested in it, but it doesn't mean that they are positive about crypto.

So why are you even mentioning Amazon? Who told you rhat Amazon is adopting cryptocurrency? For your information they are not adopting cryptocurrency in anyway. The only people I know that are adopting cryptocurrency is the other three you have mentioned. Microsoft have a cryptocurrency of their own and they are also accepting cryptocurrency for making purchase on their Xbox store. Starbucks are one of those that are adopting cryptocurrency. And as for Facebook, those ones are fond of digging into every step our lives and selling it to advisers. I believe their cryptocurrency will be a way for them to be able to trace our all round and moves and know what we are purchasing and when we are doing that.
Facebook have already got there hands on your basic information and places that you like and things that you want, when they launch there own crypto it will have a stable value of 1=1 USD and looking at some post on facebook mostly travel vlog and food, it will be profitable for them.
Amazon creating its own crypto is just a rumor, but it may become a reality if bitcoin popularity soar into another all time high in the future.

I don't think this is adoption per se. They are after the technology behind and not bitcoin. And besides is not a direct bitcoin transaction specially Starbucks. But what the hell, every goods that includes bitcoin and blockchain technology is good right?

from what I saw in your post, these companies are in a race to use blockchain, are not in the race to use bitcoin, you can see in your post if I am wrong. None of these companies you mentioned are using bitcoin directly and are not directly promoting bitcoin. I honestly do not see it as a big news

Additional to Facebook coin:
Many know that crypto is the place you can earn easy money, facebook coin is just like a stable coin, just like USDT which kinda pegged it in USD or in some national currency.
Maybe some will think that they can invest and facebook coin to earn huge returns, they are wrong.

Yes, you are right.

But looking at more positive side, they can receive actual payments through bitcoin and no need for their customers to convert it first with fiat or any currency that they prefer.

Paying them with bitcoin with the help of those payment processors is still admirable because they have considered of looking at it, probably they have seen that there's a good market for bitcoin users.
