As a general notice, I have noticed there was a bit of activity today.  Other than having to unwind some other business, taking a hit on some investments, and taking advantage of a couple of opportunities that have come my way, StarfishBCB is still operating.

There are a couple of short-term issues that arise.
1: Large (500+) withdrawal requests might be delayed.
2: I am not looking for additional deposits as opportunities that have the correct risk profile are in a state of change.  Please check with me first.
3: New account requests will go onto a wait-list.  This allows me to better match the needs of different users, particularly when BS&T funds are returned to users.

With respect to #2 above, I do have and have taken opportunities to purchase several bitcoinmax accounts, but that is a prohibited exposure for deposit funds.

I think both of you know what was going on - yes to was a 1% account, yes I carry reserves, no it wasn't a passthrough.

In other news, I am still working through the 17 messages received overnight - I will have the withdrawals done shortly.

I have successfully requested and received a withdrawal yesterday. Thanks Patrick!

I waited several hours though, should I ask Bitlane if it was a ponzi after all?

Don't be a fucking retard. I deal DIRECTLY with Pirate. You use Patrick's pass-through and luckily for you, Patrick has coins in reserve.
Are you honestly THAT stupid ? DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE ?

Sorry about the thread Patrick, but this tool needs to drop himself on his head a few more times and get a firmer grasp on the lending climate.

I'm not talking about the passthrough but about his 1%/week deposit plan.

Calm down please. I edited my last post, my irony was misplaced. sorry I was upset by your topic against pirate this morning, but I don't want to fuel the war around here Smiley

What does the asterisk mean?
What is a "different kind of account"?

I have a couple of "high-risk" accounts.

Also, current balances have been updated: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.981017
(71 deposits covering 15,500 coins)

My deposit isn't shown there. Not really an issue to me, just making sure it wasn't lost or forgotten about.

List updated.  There were a lot of changes this week with the interest rate change and things didn't run as smoothly as I would have liked.  Thank you to everyone that has pointed out the gaps.

So since you have 4500 btc until you hit your max I assume I can put more coins in without asking? (although I am asking)
Can I open another "account" that pays out weekly as well as keep the current one that coupounds?

I need to update availability, despite paying out a few large deposits, it has shrunk to 4000 and I am not actively looking for coins for deposits currently, otherwise I have several people that would want to add several thousand and I'm trying to keep some availability for small accounts.

However, I see your account is modest, and up to a combined 500 coins I wouldn't have any particular problems running it in two halves given I opened a pair of sub-accounts for someone this week.

Weekly interest for those on that option has been paid.  As this is the first week at 1%, please let me know if I've made any mistakes (they happen).

Eh, I may have used the wrong term. He lent me 15 BTC.
I was just wondering if borrowing -15 BTC is the same as lending +15 BTC.  Wink
