Patrick hi,

If you have the capacity then I would like to deposit 700 BTC with your non pirate, guaranteed scheme @ 1.5% per week, rolling it over for compound interest.

A couple of questions, do you have or are you planning a web site or such to manage these or do you send out weekly statements, also have you any kind of dead man's switch in place as this is quite a lot of funds that you're managing altogether.

Many thanks, no rush at all,

Otoh

Copy of reply pm.

As an additional note, having watched various web sites get hacked over the past year, I have no ambition to make the list of biggest bitcoin-robberies.

_____________________________________________________________________________

I am planning on dropping to 1%/week in July, but am constantly assessing/reassessing that - depends on the income I can generate of the coins.

I am not planning a web site for several reasons.  One, if I did one it would be ugly as sin and not very secure (my programming skills are not web/html skills).  Second, it's really easy to track balances, but if you lose track, pm/skype/email works as contact points.

Dead-man switch is something I'm continuing to document as there is quite a lot of funds tied up.  I have someone who can unwind all of the positions/assets/loans/deposits.

Patrick

Just a place where one could track interest payments, rate, current balance, past payments, deposits & withdrawals etc, even if public would be OK for me, but not essential - IMSA doesn't have one either but it is reassuring to get updates once in a while so that one knows that it all ticking over nicely & where one's funds stand balance wise at least.

700 BTC deposited to Starfish BCB, many thanks - hope that it works well for you.

Giga asked me to hold 617 BTC in escrow for a deal he is doing with Cobra.  (and yes I'm doing this for free because I've had good business with both)

Close-out notice: Notification from Giga, funds released to Cobra.

so the minimum deposit is 10BTC? do you ocassionally make any exceptions to that?
For 1% on a small amount of BTC, you should just head over to GLBSE.com and buy some BDK.BND or Tygrr-Bond-B Smiley

Yes they could - and when they want to cash out, they need to have liquidity in the bonds to do that.  In any event, I offered a second option with higher interest and it's sitting and compounding currently.

Re: Cobra loan

I spent quite a while discussing and arranging a loan with Cobra yesterday and we reached agreement to do a three month, 200 coin loan.  We discussed quite a few things and on reflection (along with some recent bitcoin developments) Cobra decided not to take up the loan, and returned the test deposit we had exchanged.  Cobra is not a long-time or senior member, so is still building credibility on the forum, but on the basis of my dealing with him, will probably do some business when the time is right.

Thank you Patrick for the kind words.  I look forward to building credibility in the forum and maybe taking a loan in the future.  I certainly understand why any lender is skeptical to loan a large sum of coins to a new member with limited posts, it almost instantly gets a scammer comment from someone. Many new members that have burned a lender unfortunately ruin it for other new members. I thank Patrick for not stereotyping me right away and just tossing me in the high risk category without any further thought. I was able to prove credit worthiness and verify identity to put his mind at ease.

I was going to buy 6 BFL's and finance 2 of them but started to think of all the negatives revolving that.  The wait will probably be well over 6 weeks. Hopefully you could sell them here but the market is limited unlike a video card. With all the other people buying these and the increased hashing power on the network combined with increasing difficulty, I am going to wait things out a bit.

As an update, Cobra did take out a 200BTC loan, and recently we agreed an accelerated payment schedule and it is now fully paid off.  Excellent person to deal with.

I would like to apply for a loan of 15 BTC while I wait for my first withdrawal at Entropia Universe to clear. According to the site, it should take about 40 days for them to send it (it's done manually) and 5 days for me to receive it. This is the max amount of time I would require. I can send a screenshot of the pending transaction if required. One PED is worth about 10 cents, so my withdrawal totals to a little less than 100 USD.
The reason I am in need of the money now rather than next month is because I need to pay for transportation for the next two weeks. I take the bus, but I'm still low on funds.

If accepted, my address for the loan will be removed by poster . I will pay back 18 BTC within two months.

EDIT: Found out my semester ends today. Have everything I need. Cancel my application. I don't need the loan.
