i think the best way would be posting in off-topic section. but be careful since spamming can get you banned.
here are the ranks: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/forum-rankspositionsbadges-what-do-those-shiny-coins-under-my-name-mean-178608
i think you can get maximum of 14 ranks per 2 weeks.

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Rough summary of what this means: If you post once per day on average, then you will eventually get the maximum number of activity points that you can get. Posting more than once per day on average is useless for increasing activity. The maximum number of activity points you can get is 1 per day, but your activity score only updates every two weeks. Therefore, it will take about 100 days to get 100 activity if you post once per day on average.

Activity is updated every hour.

The new membergroup limits work like this:
GroupRequirement
Brand New0 posts
Newbie(none)
Jr. Memberactivity: 30
Memberactivity: 60
Full Memberactivity: 120
Sr. Memberactivity: 240
Hero Memberactivity: 480

I'm not 100% sure that the membergroups work correctly. Tell me if you see any bugs.

Seems like a lot of people spam the off-topic board to raise their post count, not that I endorse it Wink

Wouldn't advise you spam too much as your account might get banned.

Simple question
What is the best/fastest way to lev up starting as a newbie member. Please give tips. THX Wink

There is no fastest way. Accounts created from scratch can only get there by posting over time. For example you need to post in three activity periods to become a Junior Member but there is no way to become a Junior faster. The only way you could do that is to buy an account but otherwise you'll have to wait the time. I think it takes eight months to become a Senior and that's providing you post in every single period.

post one messagge for every thread, stay on topic of course

engage only if someone quote you, this is also the best way to not get banned

you should boost your activity pretty fast

None of this is really true or advisable. You can post as many messages that is rekevant in one thread and you don't have to be quoted to be engaged. This advice will not boost his activity either but obviously could get him the mandatory points

it may be not really true, but it's a good guide for a newbie, to not get banned and lost his account which will result in a non-fast level up you know, engage too much, sometime will derail your message, resulting in a off-topic posts

There are no fast way to achieve it. You'll probably have to wait for months to be a member. 14 activity points are awarded for every 14 days, and you cannot go much more than that.

If you ever get banned, never ever use another account to avoid the ban. You will then get banned permanently for ban evasion. You'd then need to pay a fine to get unbanned.

You cannot pay a fine to get unbanned. This only exists for brand new accounts who register on a blocked connection and have to pay to get it unblocked, but again this is just for brand new accounts signing up via a proxy or tor.

Is there a way to make an appeal if you are permabanned?  Would you be lenient based off the first ban reason?

You can appeal via the appeal email you get once banned but I think it's pretty much pointless as I've never seen a person be successful that way nor do I even know if theymos checks or reads them.

Pretty bleak life there on after.  What happened to dank?  Cheesy

Your best course is to open a thread in Meta which is usually a better way to get a reply or response though the outcome is usually always the same: wait out your ban. Your first ban is usually lenient and is from 3-7 days depending on the infraction. Second ban is usually 2 weeks. Third a month. Fourth usually permanent, but on rare cases they may be removed eventually.

you can make a few accounts and post 14 posts every 2 weeks so your ranks would update, though im not sure if multi accounts are allowed

I'm pretty sure they are. It's all something of a free for all but I wouldn't have the patience for it.

They're allowed.

There is only one outcome that is likely to come from such behavior and that is receiving the ban hammer and being banned, then more than likely being banned further for thinking you can avoid the ban with one of the other accounts lol

If you are going to do just have a few and stay away from the few word posts and stay on topic.

You can have as many as you want but make low quality posts from one or more and you risk having them all banned. Using another account to avoid a ban will also get that account banned and likely a ban extention.

If you ever get banned, never ever use another account to avoid the ban. You will then get banned permanently for ban evasion. You'd then need to pay a fine to get unbanned.

Interesting i have never heard you can pay to be unbanned  Huh

Are you sure how much would you have to pay?

I thought the only payments that you pay are those when you sign up threw a previously banned ip, please tell me if i am wrong.

I'm not sure if it was both, but I know that if your IP gets banned you'll be charged. Maybe I'm thinking of that. I'll look around in the meta and notify you.

They are allowed 100% but the risk you run is creating to many and then trying to keep up with it by going around spamming.

If it's to get signed up for a signature campaign, it'll be a whole load faster to just buy an account. There's enough for sale and you'll make a return on laying out for it relatively rapidly.

there is no fast way,you just have to wait!
1activity per day!! maximum 14activity per 2 weeks

so you need lots and lots of days to level it up!
Wrong, if you have 260post and have 238 post, when the new activity period come, you only need to post once to get all of the 14 activity added. If you post once during every 2 weeks period for 3 weeks, you can post 42 post and the activity will be increased by 42.
