The main spirit of sports betting is to have some fun while watching your favorite team play and if you are really not into a sport it is not an advisable situation because you really cannot win the bets by just looking at the statistics and past performance of a team or individual and wagging a blind bet looking at the betting line is also a high risk situation.

According to Me If Someone Try Out Sports Betting then the Person Will Choose the Sports he has Some Knowledge and Experience of that Sports Because If anyone Put Some Money on a Sports in which he Doesn't have any Knowledge then the Winning Chances are Less.....i agree on you that if you bet on sports that you don't have any knowledge have less chance of winning because data analysis on each player is a very important factor disregarding the odds. because odds is set base on past result of each of the players or teams. But i don't believe that people only bet on the sports that they know only, because if you are a real gambler you will just bet based on the odds of each game.
That is what every sports gambler should abide by. Just bet on sports you know and study the whole league first before you even try to bet on that league. Or even know the game first, because if you don't even know the mechanics then you wouldn't be able to even interpret the results of the game

Soccer from high level leagues is my main sports betting. It is easier to find all the things that we need to make some predictions from soccer's games. And the other reason why I choose this kind of game is due to the fact that I love to watch soccer's games instead other type of sport's games.

But in reality, we must need a luck to win in all kinds of games including knowledge-based games like sports betting. I to bet on cricket games but only for fun with small amounts and enjoy my game.

but underdog teams not always lucky and win because in sport betting strong teams will always had a chance to win and indeed if you win betting on underdog teams will give you more profit because usually sportbooks would provide high odds for underdog teams for every matches That's how I first started to bet. as someone who has been making bets on e-sports i have to tell you that there is no difference between betting on e-sports or sports. the same rules and risks apply in both fields.
the team, the players and their moods is true in both fields.
you just have to know the both teams and know their history. and also in some e-sports games you should know the new meta (since they change a lot) and also know how the teams are comfortable with the new meta.

that might be how it is for you maybe because you have been betting on E-Sports longer than I have. I can tell you from experience that Sports Betting is chosen more than E-Sports Betting because it is easier to understand. If you are an expert gambler then you would know this for a fact. Life doesn't revolve around the computer, you might be used to the basic point of view on who will win or lose -when it comes down to eliminating the most risk as possible -if you research the things that goes on behind the scenes then it will help you win more.

If you are going to start betting on sports rather than just dice or something that is based on purely luck than you need to know what you are doing. I mean if you know the teams, the players, who is injured who is banned etc etc and everything involved the risk factor goes lower but the Money you can earn goes down as well. This means that if you bet on sure things you will make less Money and risking more for a smaller return. Its still less risky than betting on 50% on a dice game because you know who has the advantage of winning a game if you know the teams well enough.
Sports betting is way better than simple gambling, even though there is risk of losing in sports betting just like in gambling. But actually wining depends upon your knowledge about the team who were in the game as well as on skills of your favorite players rather than only in luck.

In gambling, especially in sports betting, we only win if we have interest of sports and without our interest, i don't think that we win in sports betting. Because if you have skills of sports than luck with you, otherwise only you do bet without skills and strategy than it will be difficult to win in sports, because sports is not automatically playing like dice.

Well I really found gambling and sports betting interesting and addictive because when you truly watch sports and play it and master it by just watching the game or playing it you can predict it well, for me i can predict basket ball games so i bet on the team and won mostly
but surely. A easy sport games to bet is basket ball for me because you can easily predict by looking at their recent game and by their team work its really easy and easy win too try it you won't regret it also you learn more on that sport you like

That's a good sign. It might mean you're not a degen. But then again all it takes is start making a few 'small' bets here and there that gets you hooked.

It's very important to bet on the sports you love. If you love the sport, following it and all that time reading and making research about it wouldn't feel like it's a waste of time. Especially in losing runs.
