Curious if that will affect the people selling games on the bitcoin talk? And the various other websites you can buy steam at.

Not sure if it will effect the forum market but it is a good thing for bitcoin that it has been accepted at Steam because now more people will notice it.
So Bitcoin has been making so good progress with these deal with different companies.

That's true. Our forum market haven't got affected. During the initial days when bitcoin was accepted by steam our forum helped in getting more popularity, eventually other gaming forums took it to most gamers. Now due to this lot gamers have got to know about bitcoin as well other digital currencies.

Steam accepting bitcoin didn't affect the market at all you see a post here and there but that's it so no it didnt affect it.
I think it's super amazing that steam started to accept bitcoin though it really shows the advancement.

It could attract people who would buy games from sites like bitcointalk to buy games in the official way from Steam instead. Our markets could lose some customers, but I don't think that it'll be too negative. Even if the official provider accepts btc, people'll still buy from forums because people usually sell games on forum under the price of the official provider's ones. In addition, that's not only the case with Steam and Steam's openness for accepting btc could help the fame of crypto-currency.

Its nice that steam is accepting the bitcoin but the fact is also that its a bit late but better later than never of course.
I think that the market will not get affected on here because of the fact it has a lot of cheap seller prices.

It does not really affect the forum market but it did affect the bitcoin a little I suppose because the steam community is quite big and alot of the steam community started to use bitcoin now too.
I think theres alot of gamers into bitcoin since everything is so digital and easy.

That is a good indication that bitcoins adoption is already increasing and because of this steam made the bitcoin to become more popular.

Certainly it is not going to affect a lot the price of bitcoin in the forum market. But instead it is going to help the demand of bitcoin in the market.

Even though not too high but it is better that a big platform is already adopting bitcoin.

I dont think that steam affect their own forum market by introducing the bitcoin i think allot of people are just happy about it just becuase they can also pay with bitcoins maybe they will be happy.

It hasn't affected the forum so much there's alot of other forums it has affected though everywhere people trying to sell their codes and items for bitcoin.
I hope amazon soon also accepts bitcoin and maybe that will affect the forum too.

Amazon is such an important player that if Amazon began accepting bitcoin not only the forum will be affected, I think the whole bitcoin world will be affected by such decision.

I also think it will affect the bitcoin a lot because of the fact that a lot of us are now buying it on other ways at amazon.
If it can be done directly it would be awesome.

Nah I do not think it will really affect the price or something because there are already stepped in a lot of large companies these days.
I think everything will be the same and that nothing will change due to this!

Personally I disagree, if Amazon decided to accept bitcoin directly, I’m pretty sure that a spike in the price of bitcoin will happen almost overnight, miners will become more profitable with the increase in price and I’m sure that a domino effect will follow and a lot more important businesses will begin accepting bitcoin.

And when your statement will happen in a real life?we are just considering about if fact like steam is a big company is not giving any effect for the price of bitcoin. and what the relationship about the price of bitcoin with the amazon is accepting bitcoin?

I don’t know I’m not a fortune teller, and about the relationship between the acceptance of bitcoin by amazon, it’s simple this will incentivize adoption which will increase volume, besides this will push the confidence in bitcoin even further and all of that has an impact on the price of bitcoin.

Considering from another example like steam, Microsoft and dell are also accept bitcoin and I not seeing the effect for them, because that is just making the holders of bitcoin is wasting or spending their money on them. just helping the cycle of bitcoin but not for the value.

Steam accepting btc is a nice move towards the btc community. It hasn't affected the forum but it did affect the way other webshops see bitcoin now I think.
Steam is quite big so it sets an example of how other shops should be implenting it too.

A lot of people use steam and bitcoin actually you'd be amazed. Especially the only gaming community is into bitcoin since everything is digital you know.

I think this move made it so that more people are using/know of bitcoin now. If amazon would do this too it would help alot.

Steam accepting btc didn't affect the forum market as much as it could have. This is probably because there are better related forums where they can sell their steam related items much easier for bitcoin then they would be able to here.
