As we can see it right now its not affected at all, the prices are indeed cheaper on here and another fact is that on steam its not something that is very known for accepting the bitcoin.
I think a lot of people do not even know this..

Its not affecting the market and that is a good thing because I think that it would be but it is not so that is nice.
I think that it will also not affect the market a lot to be honest because it has lower prices on here too.

I think it do affect the market because the acceptance of steam is going to make bitcoin to have more demand for people who are using bitcoin. And with the gamers, if they are going to know that bitcoin is more convenient for purchasing steam in game items for sure that is going to make the demand of bitcoin higher so it is going to contribute the price of bitcoin to increase.

It is good that Steam has accepted Bitcoin because now I think that more users are going to come over from Steam to Bitcoin and also the other way around.
Bitcoin needs to make more deals like this in the future to become bigger.
bitcoin can't make deals because no one control bitcoin,it's just decentralized thing, the one that could make deal is a companies that offering service with bitcoin by using payment gateway API,not the bitcoin itself

Steam has started to accept bitcoin quite a while ago already and it has not been affecting the forum market in a way people were thinking it did.
Actually in no way did it really affect the forum market it had a low impact.

Yes, I didn't see any real impact. When they start accepting BTCs there, I got a look and I saw they weren't charging the fair price for the games. So it was better to buy from resellers here on BitcoinTalk Forum, cheaper.

Now I don't know if they fixed their rates, I hope so, or almost nobody will buy direct from them with Bitcoins.
What do you mean? The prices are fair. It's the same price whether you pay via Bitcoin or any other payment option. I am sure that you most certainly did not get a look.

It's not too unfair as before, but 1 BTC=2172 of my local currency. In Steam it's 1 BTC=2033 of my local currency. And before it was worse, now it's acceptable indeed... I was saying about when I saw it, months ago.
Wowm the gap is so highly.... but I don't ever think if there are a gap from the price are put by steam with the another payment method. I think steam are always balancing the price of the one method of payment with the other and it makes me feel are wanna for checking again about that.

Well some companies do wanna to protect themselfes from the volatility of bitcoin, soo those difference between the rates might be for that, but makes no sense the rates be different from the real value of bitcoin, its like a game cost 40 dollars and you have to pay 50 dollars for it.

Some companies would really like  to avoid bitcoin volatility but in the  case of steam they are  still  using bitcoin with the current price and use the dollar value  of such game/credits which isnt  be an issue at all regarding on volatility hence they could  eventually adjust it  anytime.

One of the world's leading Bitcoin-powered casinos
if this will only start to get bitcoin by accepting from customers then there is no big effect at the price of bitcoin . if the site will make a big amount of btc in his wallet for give and take of btc with customers then it would be a big fluctuations in the bitcoin world .

I haven't been around long enough to say if it affected the forum market or not but I am guessing it didn't so much judging by the other sub forums what I've read.
I think it did have impact on other merchants maybe pressure to also accept bitcoin?

Steam accepting the bitcoin didn't affect the forum market i have not seen any steam related posts in here.
But other forums are affected heavily more by this change and I hope other merchants will also accept btc because of this.

They are accepting it a while and I think that nothing changed honestly because of the fact that the prices are here indeed better and due to that there will also not chance a lot.
I think its pretty nice and that how it is right now is good.

Right about that, the price that the sellers are offering here are way better than on steam and are also mostly going well at trusted sellers.
I think that due the price nothing really changed and some people still do not know it got accepted.
Steam are less than for publicating about accepting bitcoin payment, and i just know it from this forum until seeing about someone are teach me about that. the volatility are not giving a serious impact from the steam because if they got a little lost just they are feeling their loss.
