Everyone has its point of view but in my opinion stellar isn't a candidate for the best coin of 2014, but maybe it can explode in 2015.

Yeah I think too.Stellar had lot of attention and made big reputation.

How low do you guys think stellar will go?

I'm hoping Cryptsy adds them so I can buy some without the hassle.

You can buy it on poloniex.

I totally agree.  Although I think all alts will explode later this year after Bitcoin goes to Nasdaq.

Just hodl and pray that devs pump it up way further, since they hold most of it they would definitely try to raise its value so they can dump their owned coins.

Btw: If anyone need more stellars, I have an invite code which I am selling for 0.01 BTC

selling my invite codes for 0.01 also.

How much is stellar selling for now?

It's at its lowest point since before August 7th.

Aug 7th: $0.0025 - 0.00000428
Aug 10th: $0.0059 - 0.00000826
September 5th: $0.0021 - 0.00000432

Thanks for the info.  But for me, for a coin with over 1 billion coins and massively distributed to insiders, 432 Satoshi is still way too much.

If it gets to under 100 Sats then it's worth a gamble simply because the rich guys getting richer off stellar will try to do something to increase the value of thei massive stellar holdings.  No different than buying stock in a back ran and owned by bankers.

Cheers!

Long term I have to agree that Stellar will be going up. Jed has a lot of experience in cryptos and a lot of connections so I am sure he will be doing everything he can on this one (even more than he did with Ripple).

Stellars are being given away for free in a massive scale, I think the price will keep going down. Only when they stop giving STR away, or if the demand for STR is bigger than the amount of STR in circulation, then the price will go up.

The last time the price of Stellar went to 1000 satoshi per STR was because they had stopped giving rewards for several days in a row and the demand kept growing, now that they are giving STR away again the price is down.

They have to keep giving away. Otherwise it will be just as bad as Ripple, and then there is no reason for it to be successful.

maybe it's just because the giveaway of stellar, they gave away many stellar a month ago, and make a lot of people has this coin.
I don't know about ripple but the system of stellar is pretty good, so fast so flexible.

What was the ATH of stellars, I have sold at about 700 satoshi but I know it went higher.

~1070 was the ATH

http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/pair/str/btc/justcoin/10-days

Probably will never go back to that price again. There too much Stellars in circulation right now.

Probably this coin is dead

If I still had STR, I'd sell it ASAP. From what I can tell, there is nothing promising in the near future. Unless something BIG happens soon, I really cannot see it going further. I made a post over on Stellartalk about my opinions on the future of the coin and it's current positives/negatives. It got quickly deleted and I was IP banned from the forums. I thought it was a pretty good read too, I was being honest and showed some proof to both my criticisms and praises. But, just like the coin itself, Stellartalk is just as centralized against free thinking.
