Maybe the news that it may takes weeks/months for those on the waiting list?

But that would be a positive thing, woudln't it be?

not for me (I'm currently in queue)  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Stellar is really a phenomenom. So many people are talking about it suddenly. Really scary!

Took quite the dump today..... what was that -- ~ 70k to 200k in a day? Ouch for those holding. Fortunately I pulled out some profits yesterday and will just hold the rest for the eventual moon. Grin

Lots of people in exchange forums buy STR $2=1000STrs

I do have trust to these developers though. they made themselves known to public and I guess they'd have to do good to save face if things gets bad.

so far ive seen it going down but it has to raise to at least 1k satoshi soon

yes but not today, many people claimed 3500 STR distributed in the past 2 days, that's why the price goes down. It will keep going down to 300-400 and then rebound.

Good way to earn money fast by buying low selling high

Stellar is going down price has halved in the past few hours  Cheesy

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

That's exactly what I've been talking about.  People hate these self enrichment schemes like Stellar and ripple and most know there are fair alts which can accomplish the same goals as stellar so why give them your money.

But that doesn't mean one can't trade stellar but the price would have to be dirt cheap to justify it.  For me that's $.001 which is $1 per 1,000 stellar.  And I'm willing to wait for that since I don't plan to hold stellar long term - if I miss it then that's ok with me.

Stellar is more than a currency but I still don't like their massive premine and the fact insiders gave each other billions of coins.  I'm not supporting that kind of thing.  And plenty of other coins can do what stellar does so no need to enrich the greedy.

its 100% premined but because the focus is not being mined but being distributed and working as gateway, I dont like this fact too but it can be a temporary bridge between bitcoin and fiat for the masses.

I think their focus would be just fine without a 100% premine.  Look at Bitcoin, it's doing great.  It's not like these rich insiders have to mine the coins with their bare hands.

I get what you're saying but if that's their excise then it's a sad copout to justify enriching themselves.  And besides all that, PoW is still the best way to secure a coin.
