There are many alts coin already which are quite profitable but I have still some believe in ICOs there are some good and real ICOs but due to large number of fake ICOs , ICOs got a bad reputation and in the field of cryptocurrencies trust is a main factor. They are profitable in short term so if you are going to do invest in them, do a proper check on the coin and only invest if you are sure that coin is 100% real and food ICO otherwise it would just result in loss.

I believe in ICO. There are a lot of scam projects in ICO that make people feel confused but really ICO is a very good investment. Please analyze and carefully study the ICO project you want to participate in to avoid investing in scam projects.

ICO's are risky at times, depending on the project, some are scams but some are actually genuine. Proper research is needed, check whitepapers and look into the team. Check website and reviews to make you feel more comfortable with ICO's.

The number of successful ICO's are decreasing dramatically.  Just wanna know about successful ICO's in the fourth quarter of 2017 and if anybody still believes in  ICO's.
I agree on the fact that successful ICO's now are only few compared to those who do fail. Some of them are just copying ideas from one another and turns out to be saturated already and investors doesn't really like that stuff or the community to see an another copy cat project from others. If you do really research into things it is somehow tiring considering on the total number of ICO do almost pop outs on daily basis.
There are more than 3 000 ICO's on market already and most of them are scams, offering some shady and scammy project, with crappy whitepaper and unknown developers.
This is what I'm saying there are lots of ICO's as of now and as an investor you would really have the hard time on selecting the best possible project which isn't really copying on others. Filtering them would really be a tough or challenge for us.I would say 2% of them would only become successful. Not like on previous years which most ICO do still really worth to invest on unlike now on these recent days.

Most of ICO don't have already implemented technology. Most of them just sell an idea in pretty covering. My opinion.

I still believe in ICOs. But you should do research first before investing. It is important to have a background check about the company. Overfunding is a problem of some people who invest in ICOs. We should also consider the safety in investing.

Of course i beleive in ICOs, why shouldn't I? Not all ICOs are scam, and there are some very good projects out there, and many more will follow. ICOs are profitable, so it will attract new companies to get their funding that way if they can. Of course that since they are not regulated, probably the majority will be attempts to get your money, but there are also a lot of legit ICOs out there, that deserve our support and investment.

Of course, a recent research conducted shows that if you invest in each and every ICO include the successful one or the scam ico.

You would result a 1400% Gain for every $1 you invest, which results $14 Smiley
I have not really come across such research, but I will not  say this is not true since I have benefited from such huge increase in value.

The benefit is always high most especially if you invest in a solid project and even hold for a very long time. It might be a risky investment but it is one that is worth it and I surely will never stop believing in prospective ICOs.

Yes. I still do believe in ICOs and will probably be still believing till my last day here ij this forum. Yes, there may be a lot of scam or worthless ICOs out there, but still, there are some that are really legitimate and have really great concepts that may be beneficial for the crypto world as a whole. You just have to be more wise in picking ICOs that you may want to invest in. Try to read first or research first about the developing team before proceeding to reading the anm thread or the white paper. That can save you some time and can make you sure of your every investment.

Yes indeed but only on the projects you can see a great idea behind. Now I'm thinking about to invest in a new ICO (witcoin.io), but I'm doing my own research(whitepaper, team, ....) before doing it.
Even the projects with good idea may not be a guarantee to give you huge profit in a short term but if they have good dev backing it and they keep developing and making it relevant in the community, long term profit is guaranteed.

Most of them usually gets dumped after being launched and unless you are smart to dump quickly and buy in a better position to make back some good gains, then you might just have to wait for a while.

I still believe ICO can make a profit, but still have to choose a good ICO that you want to follow, because many ICOs are fraudulent just for profit and harm many people.
There is a lot so only thing that you must gonna do is to have deep study and more research of it before you invest for that ICO nothing is impossible that this is not a scam because if there is a money that are involved the fraud and scam to people are always there too.
