The concepts from stock market are applicable for trading Bitcoin ? Or I have to study crypto market specifically?
The crypto market is something else then the stock market because in the crypto you don't have so much governmental regulations, no manipulation of the same select group, the evolution of the market is related to the projects and the list goes on.

Stock market and Bitcoin trading is almost similar to its other. We have investor on the said project, it is globally accepted in the trading market. People look into the phenomenal entry of crypto currency market as its posted on ICO somewhere in 2008 by Satoshi. Decentralized transaction on trading of Bitcoin with out the use FIAT or paper trail give more room for investor to transact business easy and effective. Once the issues on Banned,Scammer,Regulation are address we can see the better participation of global market on crypto currency,This is the alternative way of investment and the possible future safe and fast business transaction which is soon to be adopted globally.
Pretty similar and depending on the strategy you have been using, one can basically use about the same strategy in trading stocks to trading the cryptocurrency market. It is important however to always do this with some extra caution with the rate of volatility of the market but for someone who has been trading stocks, I want to believe he should be able to handle himself well.

Finally here in cryptos that some altcoins are more like penny stocks and it is necessary to be careful which also works similar to stock markets. When it comes to trading part, stocks and cryptos have nothing different including requirement of capital and percentage of returns to gain with them.

Keep in mind that Bitcoin trade tends to be more risky because the price is more unstable than the other two markets, but Bitcoin's potential is much greater than both.
Bitcoin purchases and sales as well as shares because they profit from the difference between the selling price and the price when they buy Bitcoin.

Of course the concepts are applicable and I would say that of the stock market are much more deeper than what is applicable here in that aside from the obvious inside information that could be relied upon before taking some risky decision in the stock market, a lot of number crunching and trend establishments are needed before making some stock decisions. But over here its not like that, an average internet user can make some decisions and hit it big coupled with the availability of bots that can make it a lot more easier.

Despite the above, there is also a room of something to learn in that while there are similarities in both markets, there are also some pure differences which is not in any way related to text books, softwares, analysis, graphs etc but just information, risks without basis, buy and not look back, ICOs without the iota of success and a whole lot of factors that contribute to either success or failure in this market.

The general principles of investing still applies.

However, I think that it's different to the stock market. Stocks produce dividends, while bitcoin obviously does not. Bitcoin is a currency, while stocks are securities in a company. Two different things, but as I said, the same set of rules with investing in general, especially for the long term, applies to the crypto market.

Bitcoin is a long-term store of value, as well as an asset. So the approach here is completely different to stock market trading. Of course, you could day trade BTC like a speculative tool, but I think the most attractive aspect of BTC is still in the long term ability to hold value.

I would definitely familiarize with the crypto market before making any moves in it, including studying why BTC makes sense on an economic scale.

I think this will help you if what investment you will choose stock market or Bitcoin, here are the things that they are alike. They have the same profit-making capacity. Investing stock markets it requires a lot of patience as making a considerable amount of profit on your investment. It is a slow process and might take a few years. While Bitcoin is famous for its volatile nature as there are massive swing in its value, and this takes within a small period of time. In terms of Global reach Bitcoins have no borders as they are accepted in over 180 countries worldwide. Bitcoin is global in nature and easily transferable with incredibly low transaction fees. On oppose to this many traditional investments require formal accreditation. Limited to qualify institutional buyers, there is an invite high trading fees. By supply Bitcoin it can never be created beyond 21 million in number. Since it has a limited supply, the more users of Bitcoin it will have a steady rise in demand for Bitcoins. On the contrary there is no such limitation imposed in the share markets which ensure a predictable trend between demand and supply. In terms of risk they are the same in the case of the share market. It is all base on demand and supply. The difference is stock market is safe because government backing. While Bitcoin belong to decentralized network. When it comes to trade stock markets take away considerable amount of investment as trading charges, brokerage charges, taxes, etc. To start trading on the stock market, if it’s convenient to you, you have to find a registered broker to start a demat account. On the contrary, buying Bitcoin is lucrative, with its minimal transaction fees. These transactions are clean, fast, transparent and non-reversible transactions. All you need is a Bitcoin wallet and ensure you give the right wallet addresses while trading.

Stock and crypto market are very similar and if you have experiences of investing on a stock market you will feel conveniently on a crypto market as well but I do not insist that they are equal. Anyway there are a lot of essential differences.

Stock market can be compare to bitcoin but stock market is not extremely volatile like bitcoin market. The rate at which speculation and bad news affect the price of bitcoin is very high.

The basic is almost the same, the chart the trading analysis indicator also can be used in crypto market, the different are crypto are more fluctuative because it's decentralized, not like crypto market that can limit the lost, and then the factor for the crypto price movement are supply and demand while in stock there politic and economic and rumours news that can shake the price, I personally think crypto will give more profit but it is more risky and if you trade an alt coin beware of the whale that can control the price

There are many places where the stock market and bitcoin exchanges meet, but the basic difference is that bitcoin can be traded all day long without a day off. And there is no limit to the rise in bitcoin, as long as there is demand for it.
Stock markets could technically allow 24/7 trading to happen as well, which isn't all that difficult since everything is automated already. But I do somewhat like that stock markets close.

It gives the markets rest and time to think in case they need it, while with the crypto market there is no time to rest or think. If it's going down then it does so hard, and the same applies to when it goes up. It's one crazy market.

Also, individual stocks can keep going up endlessly as well, but their growth is purely based on the underlying value, which is the company itself. Google has the potential to keep rising due to their dominance.

Basically everything we do is based on Google and stored on their servers, which is somewhat of a scary thought, but that makes them one of the few businesses being able to keep rising endlessly with how the internet grows.

I've tried applying all the chart patterns that I have learned on Bitcoin and end up being on the wrong side of the trade most of the time. Bitcoin is just too volatile to anticipate its next move. I think it's good for mid to long term trading, for those who really like Bitcoin.

For me, it looks much the same. Both crypto currencies and stock markets deal with different companies that changes prices depending in the market and government movements and natural disasters. Only thing it you're actually dealing with a more simple creature in crypto currencies. Since crypto is decentralized and is not owned and controlled by governments or or big companies.

I agree with Hydrogen. Precious metals speculation/trading would probably be a better comparison to draw for crypto trading. Stocks in the real economy depend on business decisions, earning reports, stuff like that. Bitcoin doesn't give out dividends. That's why precious metals is a better comparison, in my opinion.

Some analysis tools can definitely be transferred from stocks to crypto trading, as well as indices.

Crypto is entirely unique, however, and you definitely need to do some research before you invest anything into it. But honestly, if you're inexperienced, but you stand for the concepts BTC is based on, your best bet is most likely to hold for the long term. It cancels out all the short term noise, and since BTC is a store of value and hedge against inflation, if adoption rates climb which is very likely, BTC will continue to go up in the long run.

Unlike stocks and foreign exchange transactions, encryption currency against any government regulation, it can be all-weather traded at any time in the whole world, is not like the stock and foreign exchange in the time of the day to deal so the digital currency is more unstable. The price of digital money depends mainly on demand and supply!

Although there are some similarities between the principle of Bitcoin/cryptocurrency market and stock market because the price are both depends on the supply and demand, there are still a lot of things that makes them different like, in cryptocurrency market prices move faster than stock market so this makes cryptocurrency more riskier but can give more profit to investors/traders. Another things is the manipulation, cryptocurrencies are still on its early age and there are lots of coin that is coming up that has low trading volume which can easily be manipulated by big investors and the market is global, in stock market this is very minimal to happen because it is regulated by the government of a specific country where it is operating.

And non-regulation causes many risks. If the "bubble" of bitcoin bursts, the stock market will collapse after it. And vice versa: if a recession starts in the market, investors will panic and will sell bitcoin. Last year, money followed the indicators. As soon as there was a jump in volatility, there was a great demand for liquidity. I believe that as soon as the crypto-currency markets become more regulated, some risks will go down.

And another important thing is that while the stock market doesn't really change more than - let's say 10% - and 10% means A LOT, a 10% change in crypto markets is not really a big deal and it happens pretty often.

as far as I know right now, buying and selling using bitcoin equals buying and selling stocks because they can both benefit from the difference between the selling price and the purchase price.
Price movements that occur in stock one of them will be greatly influenced by the results of the company's performance. For example, such as an increase or decrease in profits and sales, dividends or news can also be large that will affect the company. in the bitcoin world for the price of its unit will only be affected by the same thing, namely the increase and decrease in demand and press circulating widely in the community. you can still remember when there was a case that happened because of bad news about the fatal mistake in the management process of Mt. Gox, consequently bitcoin prices even dropped. in my opinion from the conclusion of all this is not said different, even almost 99% the same.

Imho, while the principles are the same, there's one big difference: crypto market is not regulated.
The result is that pump and dumps or other forms of market manipulation is still there and can burn you.

I agree that this is what crucially distinguishes crypto-currencies and stock markets.
