like i said you can build stuff on ethereum  not on bitcoin, yes you can build a economy around bitcoin but not smart contracts or anything like that

Just because most of the bitcoin hashrate is from China or at least the ASIC manufacteur's doesn't mean that its controlled by the Chinese. Do you think Ethereum is any different? Maybe in the days before the ETH ASICs it had a good distribution of hashrate througout the world since anyone with a GPU could mine it, however now much of the hashrate is pretty much ASIC  and where do you think those ASICs were produced? In China of course.

I had these discussions with some of my friends and basically its 2 sided. When they buy bitcoin and it goes up, they say its the best thing ever. When they buy and price goes down they go on a similar rant such as yours and say its a scam because they lost money. If you bought APPLE or Facebook stock and it went down and you lost money, would you stop using Facebook or stop buying Apple products, probably not. So bitcoin is no different. Just buy during bear markets and sell during bull markets, and don't FOMO.

I think someone is having an issue again because they can't make profit with these huge whales circling around him. And when he invest I assume he mistakenly bought the peak price and now is complaining because it won't reach to his expectations. Somehow Bitcoin is not created for profit making it is designed to make your own bank without the need of any government authority.

All of the things that you said could be true, but you don't put pieces of evidence in your post and also you don't even have a basis in your post,
How could you say that Ethereum can do better than bitcoin? and there are so many accusations about bitcoin being controlled by the Chinese.
No need to prove you wrong because you don't even prove anything you just accuse, I think you could pretty much lose a lot of money in investing in bitcoin but it was already a basic thing in investing in cryptocurrency since we all know that it was all have a big risk, surely you could pretty much do the same in investing in a good business and it is less risky than investing in bitcoin. Avoid investing in bitcoin if you don't have enough knowledge because it was just going to be a waste of money.

Bitcoin and most cryptos are created for virtually nothing and are sold for 10000x what they are worth now. But most people still lost on crypto.

Everyone can create a dollar bill(currency), all it needs is paper and aprinting a machine and come up with a way to make it hard for others to copy it by putting watermarks on it.
Everyone with a few buks can this way create almost amillion . BUT if we do it we are locked up because we cant jsut print money right- its a crime basically

Also copying existing money is a crime- because by law there are only a certain group of people allowed to print money and you have to accept this money if you have a licensed store within this country.

So even if we come up with our own currency nobody would accept it for their services cause nobody else takes it because its worthless.

Therefore its a monoply on money and this just doesnt work.

cause you than can controll how a civiliation works- at the biggest picture.

Because the group that creates something for free and sell it for the most is the wealthiest- but this creates injustice - isnt it.

I just want to ask something, have you ever done a research about statistics concerning what bitcoin is at the moment now? Because as you said, bitcoin is almost controlled by the Chinese which I find not pleasing. Why? Because we, users are more important than miners, we are somehow controlling them because we are the one who is buying their bitcoin, and it depends on our decision if we are to buy their offer. In that regard, the market price depends upon us, meaning to say that we are the one who is determining the market price of bitcoin.

That's just your opinion. Meanwhile, bitcoin is still the best coin on the market.

Or maybe he's just saying those things as he wanted to buy at cheap price and he wanted people to become panic so he can buy at the price he wanted, let's realize that there's a lot of ways for the whales or for the new investors to buy at cheap so it's up to us if we will believe them and get manipulated.

Maybe he gives recommendation because loss much money with bitcoin investment during investing when bitcoin above $16k and now look with bitcoin price keep down, how ever he was frustrated and ask to other not faced the same moment like him and keep us from loss money too. I applause with his recommendation for next time always be careful and take care when investing with bitcoin or altcoin.

If you are not happy investing in bitcoin then you may leave. bitcoin don't need you to react like this. if this controlling by chinese, why chinese government banned it in recent years? maybe, you lost a big amount in chinese exchange or in any chinese user. don't blame bitcoin for what you have done wrong. just focus on ethereum mate to gain more profit.

I think he is disappointing with bitcoin or crypto currencies maybe he lose his investment or did not like China.

I love bitcoin and crypto currencies to make without any investment from past 5 years without any disappointment and still doing work in crypto world and getting more interesting to gain knowledge in crypto world.

listen bitcoin has some usecase- yes you can pay for hosting and buy from darknetmarkets or use it for something else- i know that and i use it myself.


in case of darknetmarkets you cant use bitcoin anymore if you want to do things on there commercially- i personally dont give a fuck if i get busted for buying a bit of weed on there

and in case of hosting i do it because bitcoin is more conveniently to me than using a credit card- no doubt about that- however i rather pay with etherum cause it would be faster.

Of course bitcoin has his advantages but it turned into shit imo- its to much controlled etc.

Everything we old school crypto guys got in crypto for is now done. Its not what it used to be and im not really talking about the price cause back than btc was 300 400 bucks- i got in at 50 bucks made millions in crypto and probably lost more than that, but its not the same.

and i feel the system to much in this spcae and what once was a tool that liberates us(darknet markets - p2p transactions and what not) turned into a tool to enslave us.

Bitcoin is 10 years old and nobody, well I myself use btc for paying my hosting fees etc and to buy weed, but even than bitcoin is useless.

Bitcoin was supposed to be different but it turned into the same government controlled bullshit like everything else on this planet. Controlled manipulated based on speculation and it is basically garbage.
Again this also applies to most other currencies however on ethereum you can at least create your own erc20 token and build something better on top of ethereum, there is nothing you can build on bitcoin- nothing and please dont mention lightning- which is the biggest garbage of all.

If you have made too much losses in the past and still in loss, that is not enough to backlash bitcoin, but you have freedom of speech though.

How poor you are if you believe this nonsense statement. What Ethereum can do that this may surpass Bitcoin? It is almost before but at the end always bitcoin on the top. People like you must not here and dont visit here if that is your instincts. Bitcoin is already in mainstream and I think it will remain and no one will replace this currency. There are a lot of Bitcoin enthusiasts rather than altcoins. So dont dictate people who not blindly and they might saw that bitcoin have great potential when investing and hold long run.

It does not need to hate bitcoin just because he support ethereum right? it is hard to believe someone who don't have enough evidences to show to support it's opinion. We have different preferences and we don't have to make people believe on something just because we want it that way. Sometimes people will never be on your side and you have to take it and respect it. Me myself, will never stop buying bitcoin as long as I have money to buy because it is my choice and forever be my choice. I think it has a lot of advantages and the adoption of bitcoin is progressing so maybe it can affect bitcoin in a positive way.
