The main reason of the rumors and false news is the half understanding of cryptos. I have seen journalists and writers giving bullshit reasons for why cryptocurrencies will fail without understanding the underlying technical or economical aspect. Since, the market is highly unregulated, the rumors are inevitable
The fake news is a continuous strategy by governments through whales to scare new entrants from the space, so if i got involved in BTC just in March, 2018 there is a high probability i do not know what happened to bitcoin in 2017, so the fake news may appear real to me and affect my actions before i discover the truth
Yes this is what makes bitcoin development slow down, even we see a lot of competition to make writing or video that contains weaknesses about bitcoin, I hope users do not panic so can get big profit later this year. 
Right. I do not believe in any news about this market because most of the news is aimed at lowering the crypto market. This is certainly the intention of the whale to reduce the price of the crypto to buy at lower prices. Have more confidence in your own perception.
I agree , believing in any news regarding cryptocurrency is only de-motivating yourself and compelling your self to not to trust BITCOIN . It is much better to check any news twice or thrice yourself before believing it.
The current "crash" is caused by one bad "news" after another. A lot of them are the false or twisted truth.
For example, today, once again "China Full ban crypto". What the... Why is it causing another crash?? Why is it even "news"?
It was already banned in China back in September 2017. All trading platforms suspended trading in September. Anyone from China who still trade Crypto must be using foreign platforms. Sure, they reported that China added all crypto exchange sites to Great FireWall. So what? These people have VPNs! When I was in China, everyone who visits foreign sites use VPNs. Yes, China banned VPN as well a long time ago. So what? Everyone is still using it. Just like ignoring the traffic light is illegal in China, but at every intersection, you will see people ignore the red lights... the truth! Just because it is "illegal", does not mean no one will do it.
So just this (one) news of China banned Crypto, it was repeatedly used to crash the Crypto market (4 or 5 times). Do not fall for it!
1. Summer 2017, China banned ICO.
2. September 2017, China banned crypto trading.
3. November or December? China became unfriendly to crypto mining (Large-scale miners moved oversea already)
4. January 2018. China banned websites of foreign crypto exchanges. (VPN!!!)
5. Today, "China Full Ban Crypto"... (Really?)
So what is next?
"China really ban crypto"?
"China really full ban crypto"?
"China really really full ban crypto"
"China will jail anyone who trades crypto"
"China will execute anyone who trades crypto"?
"China will nuke every country who trade crypto"??
Stop spreading this nonsense. What's done was already done in September 2017. Nothing has changed ever since. NOTHING really changed in the last 4~5 months.

Same goes for Korean and Indian news. South Korea did not really ban crypto. Just one guy wanted to ban it. It was not approved, nor implemented. So far they have only added regulations that people can no longer trade anonymously. So what? Didn't Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex etc. US-based platforms all require our IDs and photos?
India also did not ban crypto. Just a minister made some unfriendly speech toward crypto. No real "ban" whatsoever.
From the look of it, someone or some groups are trying hard to make the prices go down. The sad thing is, people are falling for it. The same China "news" was used on 5 occasions to cause the market crash while nothing was really changed or happened. Korean news was used on at least 2 occasions.
The bottom line is, let's just ignore all the stupid "news". Use our brains. Not hearsay from yellow journalism. It is getting annoying to have every little "news" to impact the market price.

That's a very good point. When China banned BTC in the first week of Sep 2017, BTC fell from 5000 USD to under 4000 USD in few hours. It was the time we heard so much FUD about BTC but in last quarter of 2017, we saw a huge rally and BTC reached its ATH in Dec 2017. Every market fell and rise, I guess same holds true for the crypto market as well. Majority of news in the market are fake and people sell in panic after hearing such fake news without even verifying them.
exactly!! false news is always around when greedy whales wanting to get bitcoin down, More rumors, fake news is coming everywhere which cause a crashed to the and with that, newbies and panicman dump their holdings believing those fake news, and we shouldn't believe those,just stay calm.

The victims of this fake news are those novice inventors who are not aware of the system. Although it gives others to buy at the lower price but the bottom of this are more will become a losers. So, we will not tolerate this FUD as we will educate our friends in crypto to make us all grow.
Anything that goes up is being pulled down by someone below. Basically crab mentality to destroy bitcoin. Other than that news are being overrated by media in result people over react. Furthermore, it depends on how we approach such news regardless whether its real or just a black propaganda.
Spreading Fake news make market more unstable. A lot good ICO project destroy by fake news. We cannot stop fakes news but we can stop listing to them. Crypto whales use their own strategy to control the market by pumping and dumping. Normal people sell their assert based on Fake news and whales buying more assert on dumps. Don't sell your crypto on any dump. If there is a dump, definitely there is pump also. Don't panic on fake news.
Actually I don't have any time to read those kinda news, besides it isn't in my country and I don't think it's true. So, I just keep on my way to read good stuff in this forum and try to share everything what I can share.

Couldn't agree more. I think its important for people to understand that there are institution that are going to be wiped out or transformed. This is putting peoples jobs on the line. So any false news is expected and you would hope people pay more attention to the underlying technology
We cant force someone to not believe or stop believing in news or should i say fake news. But yes stop listening to fake news though , dont be affected always conduct a search a basic review something like that. But then again fake news are unstoppable its all over the media , its spreading across the world. Those people sorry for the word but those people are crab mentality , theyre causing too much trouble and hussle.
strongly agree, that we should check again what we read from where the source and who the author is whether this news is true or just false news that wants to destroy bitcoin.

There are always going to be new users who don't know about the shilling and FUD that goes around in the crypto community to shake weak hands out of their hodlings and make them sell their coins so that whales can accumulate more of their coins. They will learn it automatically once they get burned by it.

They made the wrong decision about ignoring the previous bitcoin. So they want to bring bitcoin in hopes they can do bitcoin at a cheaper price. The real reason about this fake news spreader is to let bitcoin down because they are the ones who ignore the previous bitcoin when the market value is still very cheap
I agree to not believe or believe in an article or news spreading everyday, because every news now about crypto is not legit, i read more articles that are false. Don't believe immediately in every news, search some more before believing the news
No matter what news is spreading around whales having their own strategy to pump and dump coins . The billions of marketcap not controlled by normal people who buy and sell by panic . It’s all by whales they decide when to pump and dump.

There is and existing crab mentality sometimes,that whoever on top,some will not sleep finding a way on how to pull you down,just like what happened when they scattered some false news about Bitcoin.But we all know that the works of an evil would never win,so we have to gather facts always about the existing false news nowadays and we have to believe on the BTC because this is real and false news is just hearsay.Believe on reality,the BTC and not on the hearsay.
This fake news propogate by some people who want to crush Bitcoin just to buy it in smaller price.
I agree with you, there's a lot of instances where in people will drag you down cause they cannot be like you, they will be under you and for them to be higher they will drag you. Stop listening to fake news that may affect your motivation in working here practice the mindset that whatever that will neber help you to grow, leave It.
