Because of these false news a lot of potential and curious investors have back out. All those news does is to attack bitcoin but I still don't believe them. I just don't listen to anyone but I do my own research if I want to know something.
we need to learn to stay away from all these propaganda about the crypto ban, for all the news spread about ban ban ban, I have not seemed any real effect it has given to crypto going with the prediction given by those that call these themselves analyst.

Fake news can really ruin once life. It will not bring prosperity but destruction. It affects the crypto currencies price because many investors will be discourage about the news that is not true and not edifying to others specially to those who are new in Bitcoin trading. Our responsibility is to share our stories to others so that they will be inspired to invest more because this is our future and can be used in our daily lives. Bitcoin can help us to earn extra income for our future.
Fake news is a major challenge facing Cryptocurrencies,. people are willingly accepting unauthenticated news and spreading them without verifying their sources. These unreliable news should be controlled, or else they will be the undoing of crypto

For example, today, once again "China Full ban crypto". What the... Why is it causing another crash?? Why is it even "news"?
It was already banned in China back in September 2017. All trading platforms suspended trading in September. Anyone from China who still trade Crypto must be using foreign platforms. Sure, they reported that China added all crypto exchange sites to Great FireWall. So what? These people have VPNs! When I was in China, everyone who visits foreign sites use VPNs. Yes, China banned VPN as well a long time ago. So what? Everyone is still using it. Just like ignoring the traffic light is illegal in China, but at every intersection, you will see people ignore the red lights... the truth! Just because it is "illegal", does not mean no one will do it.
So just this (one) news of China banned Crypto, it was repeatedly used to crash the Crypto market (4 or 5 times). Do not fall for it!

3. November or December? China became unfriendly to crypto mining (Large-scale miners moved oversea already)
4. January 2018. China banned websites of foreign crypto exchanges. (VPN!!!)

To prevent this false news to be spread out, we should engage and correct this mistakes. Don't be afraid to voice out that bitcoin is not a bubble scheme and not all countries that are reported, really banned bitcoin. Bitcoin is a successful innovation, so some people will try to tear it down because they thought they can benefit from the ruins. But I know that bitcoin will be defeated easily by rumors and bad critics. Always read the full story and disregard the nonsense.

I don't know why but for me very easy to detect false news from other interesting things. Probably those false and fake news usually don't making any harm.
at this time a lot of bad news about bitcoin, usually after there is bad news bitcoin prices down, maybe news deliberately made to lower the price of bitcoin, currently I still hold bitcoin waiting for the best price to sell it, hopefully no bad news about bitcoin so the price goes back up
you might not be able to control what kind of news you get, the news you read but you owe it to yourself to determine what to do with such information. you can research to actually know how true the information you have received is before spreading it further or believing it

It won't be easy to stop "the train of FUD". People are constantly asking the same questions or repeating things that are not true. People depend too much on others, they should make their own research especially if they invest a lot of money in crypto. I understand that one can be lazy but there are some limits. How can we stop people from listening to fake news? It is impossible, they will always panic no matter what good happens right after bad news.

We all should be aware of the information that is passed to us before we tell it to somebody else. Always confirm first the news or claim to prevent misunderstanding and prevent false humors to be spread to our communities. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency itself is a growing trend so many people will try to block it out. Also, don't be afraid to argue if you confirmed that the information given is wrong and needs to be clarified.
